How to unlock the Fur Coat achievement in Stormrise - Definitive Guide

You can potentially miss this achievement, so I'd suggest you do it on easy.

First, go North-East with your commander and a few troops to take over the first node. Build refineries, then walk up to the second node on the same path. You'll be at the bottom of a winding path and 2 tower-turrets. This node has a warp, so you can establish a base there.

Now I'd suggest to protect this area with heavy defenses. On easy, you can take your time. Build Interceptors to take down the towers in front of the citadel, and use big MECHs to take down the Worms (using the SAM ability). Once the worms and towers are done with, advance with a group of mechs to the west of the citadel. Sable will be there, waiting to be killed.

This is a difficult mission, even on easy, so take your time and make sure you have sufficient funds by capturing nodes on the way.

Fur Coat

This is for Hard difficulty, I really hated this mission, and it was definitely the hardest to start. I had to repeat the beginning a few times.

Now the best way to start this mission is by immediately taking the Node when you take a right(follow the path).

Note:If you capture the Node in the Northeast with a Warp you won't get any resources.

Build about 2 groups of grouped infantry(LB to group them up) now what happened to me while going for the Northeast base was if you sit in perfect position looking at the base with your heros, not to close, not to far you will attack the base without even being attacked back. If you can do this then great!

Once the base is destroyed just attack it with all your units and your Hero. After the base is taken hurry and upgrade it with a turret and keep the units there. Run to the other base with your hero's to protect that one.

Now just save a bit of resources. Build 2 Stalkers to protect your northeast base.

Then build 2 groups of infiltrators (6 infiltrators,LB to group them) and destroy the 2 towers in front of you by clicking on the red circle on top of the tower to the right with the groups of infiltrators. This will have them run into it and destroy it.

Then click on the other one. I don't know why but my infiltrators died and I didn't know why, so I just retrained them and clicked on the second tower to the left.

Once the towers are gone get 2 groups of hunter(aircrafts) and move them over the NORTHEAST NODE OF your Main base(one with warp).

Make sure to take out the towers to the right of this base by using your infiltrators. If you cannot see both towers little Icon's, use a group of hunters to get close enough to see the icon above the tower.

You will probably be building alot of infiltrators to take all the towers out, but should work with the same group.

Once you take those towers out make sure you took the base with your hero's. You will be getting alot of money by now so build as many stalkers as you can going towards the base the 2 towers were at. Also send all your Hunters to the base too. Once you get this base you are almost done. Make sure every Node is fully upgraded and are loading up on resources.

For the final attack just take all your units(except your heros and 2 Stalkers) and target the node behind the 3 towers at the top. Keep building stalkers and Hunters, once you run out of them build Infantry. After that node is captured just once the towers are destroyed and you are free to send your Eclipse to the Castle.

If you want the achievement to defeat Sable she is left of the tower but below, I would recommend doing that on normal or easy.

GL hope this helps, its not too hard, but kind of annoying. Make sure to save every once and a while.

Another easily missable trophy while playing through mission 9. Sable is located next to a node, in what appears to be some kind of court, on the left hand side of the Citadel, facing it. I suggest you don't disturb her until the last bits of the mission when you have taken out most of the enemies and towers surrounding her, which would have caused you a lot more trouble if you hadn't.
