Stranded: Alien Dawn

any difficulty will work. but you need to observe a shrierker, the earlier the better, it helps due to the RNG nature of the brood mother spawn. i personally found, military spawns it more often on easy, save scrim it too, once you have one spawn what i did was, get 1 character to run out an use the pacifier on it, then saved, then ran the person back to base. so the wave would attack, except for the passive brood mother i hit. [ then ran him back on aggressive to target every time the tame failed to use the pacifier again, after that, made sure i tried over and over and over taming, took about 15 resets on the save for it to get tamed but i got it, make sure to get printed meat if you can, if not, hunt down many many birds, as you'll need 10 bird meat per attempt, seemed about 6 attempts and it'll despawn.

You can use the broodmother (queen) that are located at the insect nests.
- First you need to have enough poultry as this will be used to tame the broodmother (I had about 100)
- I gathered my team (one in a mech and that one had a pacifier)
- I attacked the nest at night as it can help you nicely wither the unneeded creatures as most of them are asleep - just remember to attack from the opposite side to the broodmother and avoid waking her up
- Destroy the nest as this will prevent the new insects fromo spawning (mech has a great advantage of range here)
once there is just a couple of them left (including the broodmother) or just the queen - order the person from the mech (with the pacifier) to hunt the broodmother while the rest cover them
- once the queen is pacified, deselect the hunting option and order the person with the highest farming skill to tame her
- my first try was a fail as I managed to hurt the queen and she bled out while being tamed
- my second try was a success with the first taming try
