How to unlock the Pay the Piper achievement in Strange Brigade - Definitive Guide

As the description says, this can be optained in the Horde Modus of the game.
The goal is to open a golden door.
Golden doors are doors, which are locked and get opened for money.

You will recognize them, because there are "animated golden hands", which want money from you. Inside the room you will find loot etc.

I found one of the door in the Horde-Level "Ausgrabung". This is the german title.
I dont know, what the level is named in english, maybe "Excavation"?

From the start, turn right and just go around the level on the outside and you will find the door.
It will cost 2500.
Once you got the money, open the door and the Achievement will pop.
Easy 15GS because 2500 is not much money.
I personally optained it in the second wave.

In each Horde map, there are doors that require gold to open. They are identified with a hand beckoning you. Each map has a different gold requirement. Simply obtain enough gold, open the door and the achievement will unlock.

The cheapest door is on the map 'Palace' at only 2,500 gold. Other maps, including 'Excavation' and 'Village,' require much more.

For 2,500 gold you can open a gold door in the Horde game mode. Every map has multiple doors. Opening these doors are beneficial as they give you loot (and potions). 2,500 gold is an investment but worth it. The doors are gold and a hand will come out when you get close. Open the door by holding when next to it if you have 2,500 gold. There are more expensive doors (up to 10,000) but these also count for the trophy so feel free to open another one. You can open all of them for a Shotgun (see the tips for Back From the Mouth of Hell).

In Horde mode, you will come across similar doors (picture under spoiler). Pay to open it - you will receive valuable loot and, more importantly, a trophy.
