Class tree is a new feature of this DLC and will permits you to upgrade jobs by shifting to a secondary Ultima/Evocation (Evoker) tree that can have its panels unlocked by Rat Tails.
You will unlock this feature by simply unlock and view any conversation with Bahamut.
Ultima/Evoker are located to the left and right of each job, acting as a sort of upgrade to each job in the form of a class distinction (for example, Swordfighter gets Demonslayer Champion and Divine Commander).
Note: don't abuse rat tails, save them for the next DLC.
