The discarded organic reconnaissance unit, is the NPC that will sell you items. As you progress through the floors of the Rift Labyrinth, you'll see that he'll periodically gain an exclamation mark icon above his head, indicating that he has new dialogue for you. Every time you see one of these, make sure to talk to him.
Once you finish up roof 20, the NPC will have one final set of dialogue, followed by this trophy popping.
