How to unlock the The Triumphant achievement in STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN PS4 & PS5 - Definitive Guide

After the 2 DLC intro missions, you will have a new Bahamut tab in the main menu. Go to the new Trials option and add any points and start the first DLC mission again "Light of Possibility." You still cannot die in this mission. I had all trials on and it took a bit to get out of a staggered state (and I found my elite controller RB finally gave out this way). Just RB to victory for this achievement.

Trials of the Dragon King can be found in the new Bahamut section accessible from the main menu; the trials will make you play missions with several heavy restrictions (like Max HP reduced or enemy stats increased). In exchange, you will receive increased dragon treasure at the end of the mission.

You don't need to play the DLC with trials enabled but it can be useful to use them in order to cut time for collecting the dragon treasures needed to continue the conversation with Bahamut. Thanks to Extra Mode, you can play easy mission with many trials enabled in order to improve your treasures and reduce the number of missions and the time needed to proceed.

If you want to use the trials only for this trophy, simply complete one mission with one trial enabled at its minimum.

Note: if you use Extra Mode,the dragon treasures will be used ONLY for the story progression and will not be stored.
