Nancy will join your party as soon as you start speaking to her at The Hawkins Post located in Hawkins Square as part of the quest "Rat, Paper, Scissors" which is given to you by Will at the start of Chapter 2.

Story-related and cannot be missed.

Nancy will join your party at the beginning of the story mission Rat, Paper, Scissors. She is located at Hawkins Post in Hawkins Square.

If you do the coffee puzzle correctly, you will get a trinket (Take a Look at Me Now) that will get you more money from broken objects. The solution:

Make the coffee with tap water, fresh coffee and fresh filter. Both items can be found in the office:

Bruce : Regular, no sugar, no cream
Mac: Decaf, no sugar, one cream
Tom: Regular, two sugar, two cream
Sammy: Regular, two sugar, two cream
