After Nancy joins, complete her Coffee objective and her Phone objective. The phone call she answers from Doris prompts her to investigate Driscoll Farm and she wants Jonathan to join her.
Talk to Jonathan in the photo developing room to recruit him.

Jonathan is located at Hawkins Post in Hawkins Square. He will join your party midway through the mission, when Nancy takes a phone call about a rat problem and decides to cover the story and take a photographer (Jonathan) with her.
At the end of the mission, you will have a boss fight. The boss will not take any damage until you flip the two power switches in the room – as long as the lights are on, you will be able to inflict damage on the boss. Each time the lights go back out, more enemies will spawn near the switches so just be careful if you decide not to kill them all before flipping the switches. Break the stuff around the room if you get low on health/need Medkits.
