How to unlock the The Bite achievement in Stranger Things 3: The Game - Definitive Guide

The easiest way i found to complete cabin ambush is make sure you go out side to get the planks for the defense. Once you begin the fight, have Eleven as your secondary and Steve as your primary, use Steve's corrode ability when you can but sparingly, and make sure to use El's nuke as much as possible when she is the secondary character. After she runs out of points to use nuke swap characters and use her nuke with the remaining points on the primary character. Only using the soda sparingly and the fight shouldn't take longer than a minute.

*EDIT* Thanks to @xOAllieCatOx "I found a workaround it seems. I simply left the area fast traveled to another area and then came back and the pile in the middle of the cabin respawns"

My problem is I'm having trouble finding planks of wood 😕I found enough in the cabin to cover one window and now I can't complete the rest of the mission because I can't find any more planks of wood

Right I found a workaround it seems. I simply left the area fast traveled to another area and then came back and the pile in the middle of the cabin respawns 👍

All the extra planks of wood are behind the cabin. You get back there but walking past the bottom/right side.

Story-related and cannot be missed.

This is mostly a boss battle mission and a gimmicky one at that. Mindflayer arms/tentacles will break through the windows and you will need to quickly defeat them and board the windows back up. For this one, it's helpful to play as Eleven and have the Thinking Cap trinket equipped, as well as any that allow you to deal extra damage. If you don't have the Thinking Cap trinket, swap Eleven out for any character whose attack up trinket you might already have (at this point in the game, it'll likely be Joyce and Nancy). Failing that, any character that can deal fire damage. Make grabbing the boards a priority – they will respawn in the room but you'll need to break them apart first.
