Stray Blade

This is a story based achievement that culminates in fighting the second boss of the game, Uskol. You must first explore the Tamed Peaks, the huge zone you explore after Everforest in which contains the subzones you must explore for the story.

Uskol is at the summit of the Tamed Peaks but you can only reach him after gaining the Manninite Pound ability from The Manninie General. Once you have this ability and find the Flux battery, head back over to Uskol's Trial zone and proceed into Uskol's arena by means of a large elevator.

I hated this guy as he is a shitty designed unblockable/unparryable fight. His moves are shit and all of them are long chains of attacks with few openings and getting hit flings you back a hundred feet. With that said, I had the most success using the Guardian Glaive weapon, which hits multiple times in one attack, wiping out his health bar pretty fast. The best time to attack him is after he lowers his shield to charge you and run across the arena. Follow close to him but watch out for his back swing with the axe. Get a couple hits in before retreating. The last thing to watch out for is when he hides on a ledge. He summons minion or meteors. The minions need to be killed with Manninite Pound and the meteors just run around until they stop.

Once you strike the final blow, the achievement unlocks during the cutscene.
