This is a story related achievement that comes about 2/3 of the way through the game.
After you defeat Uskol in Tamed Peaks, you will be exploring The Convergence again for a while. Make your way through Spirits Gate, Stone Tree Canyon and The Xhinnon Vein until you finally reach the transition area to Seething Wastelands. Once you enter, the achievement unlocks.
