How to unlock the Can't Cat-ch Me achievement in Stray - Definitive Guide
This is the toughest trophy in the game and will likely frustrate you before you manage to unlock it. Avoid all Zurks chasing you in Chapter 2 (you will see the prompt if one latches onto you). If you get caught, wait for the others to find you and die until you unlock No More Lives. After that, you can pause and restart the checkpoint if you choose.
It took at least 50 tries for me to clear this the first time and another dozen for the second (not required).

Run as fast as you can and if you get caught pause the game and select to retry from the last checkpoint.
You will probably need a few tries to memorize the way, there are some sharp turns and tight corners and it is good to know where the little critters come from beforehand.
In general, do NOT run in a straight line. Always zig zag a bit, tilting your stick from left to right. They can not a at you correctly if you do that.
If you come across a spot where the zurks always seem to get you when you tilt one direction, try the other direction in that spot.
The entire track takes about 1 minute to complete. This is probably the hardest trophy in the entire game.

The always zig zag is the secret. I noticed that the buggers don't grab you even if they hit you when you're zig-zagging. Don't know if it's a bug or just luck on my part, but it worked for me at my third attempt overall.

Did this on 4th attempt PS5 but on PS4 it’s well over 50 attempts now, I hate this achievement with a passion 😊

I used this video to get a grasp of the route, especially in the end. It took me a long time, all credit to "Gaming with Abyss" for the video:
A suggestion: use the "toggle sprint" in config, it makes things more comfortable.

I've read that this is easier on PS4 than PS5. I wonder if the same is true for Xbox One vs Xbox Series S/X.

I have to agree this one is 100% luck and 0% pattern recognition. Even the video is not 100% helpful because of the randomness of how many spawn in each batch, which direction they jump and when, and which ones have the accuracy of an aimbot using PC player in Battlefield 2042 negates any pattern recognition. The best hope is to just keep dodging left and right and hope for the best.
The game is still 10/10 though, a stupid achievement does not negate how awesome the actual game is.
Downvoted as the video is a lie. at 2:30 it says stay right. The Zurks get me every time when I stay right. This section is pure luck zig zag through don't get close to the wall they bounce off the wall onto you.
At 2:37 it says go left. Again a lie, going left puts you right into a Zurk every time.
The video used is just pure 100% luck.

Ahh, the first real encounter with these little buggers. This trophy is quite annoying, with no real guidance on how to beat it. Just luck, with a hint of skill.
Run at full pelt and dodge these little critters as best you can! If you get caught you can reload the checkpoint or let the Zurk's kill you and try again. I recommend restarting just to be safe. It may take a few tries but eventually, you will understand the pattern and where the Zurk's come from, giving you a slight advantage. With enough perseverance, you should eventually snag this little gold trophy!

Thanks for the video! The tips were super helpful, I had tried ~20 times unsuccessfully before watching this then got it second try afterwards.

This took me... at least 2-2.5 hours to get, I watched so many videos, read so many guides and nearly gave up.
So firstly, rumor has it that if you get caught by a Zurk, let yourself die, apparently the more you die, the dumber the AI become (no proof, just something I read and I was desperate for any bit of help)
Secondly, once you get to know the layout and the best route to take, you're gonna hit the alley.. (YES! THAT ALLEY), this alley will give me nightmares for months to come because it's so RNG how the Zurks will react, after many attempts I found my most successful route past them was to bait the Zurks by going left and quickly switching to the right, others have found hugging the wall and zig / zagging to work, but for me it was the ol' bait and switch.
Once you manage to get past the alleyway, you're nearly home free, I'd recommend a video guide for this part as you can bypass some Zurks by hugging the right wall and they won't be so much an issue.
This is really a frustrating achievement and tbh a bit of a stain on an otherwise amazing game.
But as close as I was to giving up, I took a break and came back and got it.
Good Luck!

The point about the Zurks getting dumber was wrong. They don't. I was letting the cat die out of frustration, and on every attempt other than my last one, they kept successfully predicting where I was gonna run. They were all-knowing and all-seeing. They literally knew my moves before I did.

Yikes! This one is actually pretty tricky and one of the hardest in the game. By far. When you’re in the Dead City, after dropping the paint can through the pane of glass and continuing a wee while, a short distance later you’ll be dropped into the game’s first chase sequence with the Zurks - who basically look like the headcrabs from Half Life 2. To get through this sequence and get the trophy you’ll have to get through the section without any of them attaching themselves to you (i.e. when it says press to remove them), which is actually incredibly tricky.
There is a knack to it though and here’s some tips to get you through it:

There is a knack to it though and here’s some tips to get you through it:
- The biggest tip I can give you is to weave like you’ve never weaved before. You’ll want to combine short and long weaves.
- Also, take a wide berth when it comes to the big packs of them. Still, weaving in and out.
- And finally, learn the layout of the chase sequence. For instance, when to keep right and when to keep left, and when to weave.
- On the first set of stairs up, stay left and then at the top pull right slightly and then proceed to bob and weave.
- Same with the second set of stairs, but instead, when you get to the top step, pull right more sharply.
- After the long alley with the coffee shop flashing arrow sign, pull a sharp left towards the bin out of sight and then continue to weave.
- In the open-ish area after that section, excessive weaving is required here.
