How to unlock the Medal Master achievement in STREET FIGHTER IV - Definitive Guide

After a solid boosting session with a friend in private matches, I have discovered an incredibly easy way to get A LOT of medals in a very short amount of time.

I discovered that you can get a total of 14 medals every 2 rounds, and this doing one loss one win rotation.

These medals include;

- Win the match
- Win with a % of Health
- Super/Ultra Finish Combo
- Counter
- Reversal
- Technical
- Chip Damage
- First Hit
- Stun an Opponant

All of these medals are incredibly easilly achievable.
This is how to do it.

Using Ryu in a Private Player Match with boosting partner.
( If the person you are booting with does not need the medal achievements this will significantly increase your medal count per round, if they do take it turns to do this)

At the start of the round, be sure to get the first hit. Using heavy kicks (LB) continuously with the other player standing still will mean that you can Stun them in about 5 hits. ( NOTE! if the other player hits you during this it will reset the Stun meter)

Once player has been stunned and gets back up, they then start spamming Light Punch. (X) you walk into this punch and as soon as you are hit use quatercircle punch, this should if done right get you Counter and Reversal, if you only get a reversal then use Heavy Kick while they are punching and you will get a counter,

After this, get thrown/knocked down, just before you hit the ground press Down on the D-Pad or Analog stick to quick jump up from the ground - Technical.

After this is done if the other player is not really low on health ( BY really low i mean about 10-5%) beat them down untill they are. Then use a Super /Ultra Combo to finish. ( Other player MUST BE BLOCKING TO GET CHIP DAMAGE KILL!) and HEY PRESTO 9 Medals for a win.

Do the same for a loss except for win the match so only Reversal,Technical, Counter, Stun, First Hit and theres 5 for the loss.

Using this method in 5 hours I got from 320 Medals to 798 Medals
Doing the maths this works about to be about an average of 8.7 Medals per fight, and about 100 Medals per hour.

Hopefully this helps you out :)
Peace - Good Luck!

Can't do a 'technical' after being thrown but otherwise a very good guide, get some people to positive this so its on top! Pressing throw buttons at same time will achieve a technical or being knocked down from a normal attack and pressing down will also get the technical. I was trying to do it for ages before I looked that up!

Just play quick matches and do combos and super combos etc.. For me, in a best of 5 match. I was able to get 10-12 medals a match. It added up in no time.

Depending on your skill, you can get anywhere from 3-10 medals per match played. This one will take some time to get, but will unlock long before "Proof of Battle".
