How to unlock the Proof Of Your Victory achievement in STREET FIGHTER X TEKKEN - Definitive Guide

you have to gain a total of 1000 battle points. easiest way is to find a boosting partner and have the first person win consecutively until they unlock it. that should take between 20-25 wins. after the first person unlocks it, just switch off and have the second person get their wins.
you may want to change your search settings, if you are struggling to find each other.

is the ranking up for this game similar to ssf4 in which once you reach a certain rank even if you lose afterwards and lose some of your BPs you're already locked in that rank and you do not go back down to the next lower rank?

I haven't played this in over a year, but I think you do go down in ranking with each loss.

^ thanks for the reply. just needed to know so i can figure out how to boost this - in this case, unlike SSF4 where both players can switch back and forth.

C rank requires a total of 1,000 BP earned through ranked matches. You earn roughly 50 points on the lowest rank, and it only goes up with the higher ranked foes you face. This means if you have a friend with the trophy already willing to help out, the process could go a bit faster. If you are looking to boost it with somebody else, it is advised one of you gets the C rank and passes it to the other as you lose BP when you lose fights. On your way to this achievement, another will pop at 500 BP. C rank is the highest you need to rank, so once you obtain this you no longer have to partake in ranked matches!

Side note; best to do this while going for the arcade fight requests as they also count as ranked matches. Will save you some time to simply work on both and make progress towards each rather than simply play standard ranked matches THEN do fight requests.

C rank is obtained at 1000 points. When you get to D+ rank, you'll earn less points for fighting someone that is lower rank than you, so it's not necessarily a simple 20 fights. However you do it, get to 1000 for the trophy.

For these trophies you must win various matches in Ranked Match and level up to a certain rank. To level up you need to accumulate a certain amount of BP online, here is how much BP you will need for each trophy:

One Down!: One Win
To The Victor...: 500BP (D+)
Proof Of Your Victory: 1000BP (C)

While you do earn a certain amount of BP for each victory depending on the level of your opponent, (50BP against someone of the same rank) you will also lose a good amount of BP as well (40BP against someone of the same rank) so you will have to be consistently winning in order to earn this.

Boosting Method:
While we do not have a searching method as we did in SFIV we do have loop holes around the system. Typically players online play under the traditional 3 rounds 99 seconds format so any other format is up for grabs for you and a boosting partner to search under, making it easier for you to pair up with each other. Recommended search settings would have to be:

  • Rounds to Win: 1
  • Timer: 30 seconds

While this seems to be the typical way of searching for boosting, you may find yourself pairing up with other people searching under the same settings for the same purpose. If that is the case try changing the time on the search settings then see if you and your partner can pair up.

If you need to find a boosting partner please refer to the Trophy Boosting Thread.

Tips for Legit Play:
While most people will use the above boosting method some daredevils want to do it with their own skill and really earn it (there is nothing wrong with that) so here are a couple tips added to every other bit of information within the Road Map and guide to help you:

Team Synergy
Just like in Marvel vs Capcom, Team Synergy is important so here are some factors you want to consider when selecting your team. Meter usage is important in every way possible but using it offensively some characters may benefit from it more than others or some characters may be better at building meter than the other, keep that in mind when selecting your team order.

Balancing your team is also very important. While in Marvel your team could be used for many things such as combo extenders, ways to get in and many other things due to the ability to call them out through assist, Street Fighter x Tekken does not have that same style. When choosing characters for your team it is important to actually pick characters of playstyles you enjoy and are comfortable with but also consider picking characters to tends to the other characters bad match ups. Picking two characters who are weak against grapplers for example is a battle you don't want to put yourself in.

Match up
Knowing your characters is important but knowing the capabilities of your opponents character is just as important. Learn what moves are unsafe for your opponent and what tools they have such as overheads, cross ups, possible command grabs etc if you want to have a better chance of winning the battle. Also learn what moves you can punish on block so that you can put yourself on the offensive more often.

For more information to better yourself with your character you can refer to Shoryuken's Street Fighter x Tekken Wiki or the Street Fighter x Tekken SRK Character Forums.
