How to unlock the The Cross Revolution achievement in Street Fighter X Tekken - Definitive Guide

This solution courtesy of my pal FL Trooper BE.

HCB = half circle backwards
QCF = quarter circle forwards

Go to Versus with 2 controllers, pick Yoshimitsu, any partner, 75% handicap. Opponent should be Akuma at 100% health, as he has the lowest health in the Xbox 360 version of the game at 850. It's the Goldilocks zone for this strategy, because he will only just BARELY (and I mean by 1-2 pixels) survive 7 Swordpoke Windmills.

Just spam Swordpoke Windmill (HCB + any punch). It takes 7 to completely fill up your meter and it sucks the opponent in, so it should be impossible to miss. After the 7th, simply activate Cross Art. Akuma should only have the tiniest sliver of health left after the 7th and last Swordpoke Windmill, so the first hit of the Cross Art (QCF + YB) K.O.'s him. This shaves A LOT of time off your total spent to grind this, should be able to get an average of roughly 3 wins per minute, maybe 150-160 an hour.

Also, default or no gems equipped for both your and the enemy team.

Record was technically 13-14 seconds. But yeah, should be able to get 140-150 an hour easily.

There's only one part missing, and that would be how to do the cross art. Might be the reasoning behind to random negatives. Good solution though.

I don't understand the notation you have used for the moves. What does 63214 + punch mean?

Numpad format. Just look at the numpad on your computer and that's the movement you should do on the analog stick. So basically it's a half circle backwards.

I found it even easier by equipping the super easy input gem (the one with -10% defence, NOT -10% attack) as the move is then just Towards->Away+punch

Once the attack begins, hold right and AS SOON AS YOSHIMITSU STARTS TO MOVE HIS LEG BACK DOWN, hit away+punch. You will instantly hit another one.

I finished every round with 87 seconds on the clock that way (once was 88seconds remaining!)

There's an update so this strategy doesn't work anymore. If you want to go with this strategy cancel the update or clear your system cache.

Sadly, these are a bit more annoying than super arts and Pandora activation. It will require you to equip whatever gem units you can to boost your cross meter, ideally by landing special moves if you can. Either way, the character you'll be using is Yoshimitsu. The move you'll be using is half-circle backwards + punch. This is the best meter bolstering move in the game and you'll need to do it for both Cross Assaults and Cross Arts.

Cross Arts are executed using a quarter circle forward + Medium kick and punch. It should grab the opponent and combine the two super arts of the characters, doing some major damage to your foe. When you're doing this, you'll want to lower your foes to a sliver of health so the initial impact K.O's them rather than having to watch the full animation. This saves off quite a few seconds, saving you some serious time in the long run.

You can swap the characters out to work towards the 500 total after you've earned your 300 finishes in order to cut down on loading screens. Every little bit counts, right?

Cross Arts are activated with + MP+MK, when you have a full 3 meters. You will start a combo with your character, but then switch and finish the combo with the other character. Connect with 50 of these for Two Minds, Fighting As One, and finish 30 individual rounds with them for this trophy.

Remember that you cannot have full life, or the round will count as a perfect and not a Cross Art finish.

For these trophies you must complete a round using one of the following mechanics, all of which can be done in easier ways. Lets review how each of them can be obtained easily if/when you have to grind them out. All of these methods are assuming you are grinding them out in versus mode.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
When going for the "Finish a round" trophies you will not get progress towards any of them if you finish the round with a Perfect, it will only count the progress towards the A Perfect Victory! trophy.

Splendid Conclusion
Power Consumes All

For this trophy you want to utilize the handicap option between character select and stage select, switch the handicap of both players to 25% you can and go into the match. At the start of the match go into Pandora then use your characters Super Art for easy progress towards this as well as the "The Trump Card". Sadly this will not count towards "Splendid Conclusion" as it will only count as a Pandora Finish so you will have to do it separately for the Super Art Finishes. If you really want to be efficient with time use Ryu against a 75% handicap Hugo and spam Ryu's Shinku Hadoken Super Art, when you build the meter it's arguably the fastest Super Art in the game and you should easily be able to use 3 of time against Hugo before Pandora times out.

Sturm und Drang
Cross Revolution

For these trophies you could utilize the handicap option however, you want to build up your Cross Gauge fast as well. Set the opponents Handicap to roughly 50% or 75% to be on the safe side. For your gem load out you want to have the following Cross Gauge gems equipped with the following activation conditions:

Onslaught Lv 2 (Connect with a launcher)
Proficiency Lv 1 (Connect 3 special moves)
Proficiency Lv 1 (Connect 5 normal moves)

The plan is to first trigger Onslaught Lv. 2 which increases the meter you build now build meter by connecting with special moves and normal moves which will also trigger the Proficiency gems which reduces the cross Gauge cost for the moves you need to finish the round with. Once the opponents health is at its lowest and you have enough meter, go ahead and finish them off.
