Just posting this more of a General Knowledge than a Solution, as the achievement description is On Point .
To get Mastery on a Car, you need to get it to Lvl 10. Which takes around 130-186 Race Wins(You must win the event to get EXP, if you lose the event, you will not get EXP) Per Car. This Equates to 65-93 Best of 2 out of 3 Events (You can do the NPKs but those aren't worth it as they only give you 16 EXP per NPK not Per Race.) Per Car.
So In total to Max 3 Cars should take you between 390-558 Race Wins and around 195-279 Best 2 out of 3 Events.
I Highly Recommend for you while going for this achievement, to also Level all your Team Mates as this will give you less chances of getting duplicates when going for the following achievement (Which if you Check @Family Guy's Solution for the achievement below, it took a guy longer to finish this achievement due to getting duplicates.):

If you already have all of the team members and just need to level the cars. The challenege events give 20xp vs the trial races requiring 2 wins for 16xp. Its probably a bit faster and definately less monotonous. You do have to get gold for the 20xp but all the challeneges aren't bad. The second prison bus challenge only requires you to stay alive to 65 second so just time your gas to run out around the same time. Again only if you have all the team members will this be faster
