How to unlock the Online Co-op achievement in Streets of Rage 2 - Definitive Guide

Completing an online co-op game doesn't mean beating the game. It simply means until a game over screen occurs. So, both players just need to get themselves killed until both are out of lives. Afterwards, the 10 points will be unlocked.

You can even make the game hardcore so that each player only has one life each. That speeds it up just that little bit more.

Online Co-op - 10G (Original Achievement)

Difficulty: 3/10

*NOTE* This Achievement (as well as the game Streets of Rage 2 itself) cannot be obtained unless you had already owned the game in 2011. The game was taken out of the market place and replaced with SVC: Streets of Rage. If there is any change to this, I will inform you all on here.

If you DO have the game then your only chance to get this achievement is to boost with another player from this site. The chances of finding someone randomly over Xbox Live and 1% at best. Also note, the other player MUST have also bought the game before it was removed.

Assuming you get past that and find someone then here is what you do.

Head into multiplayer with any character and clear the whole game with the other player. This isn't hard to do if you just play on easy with the max amount of lives. You can even use continues. Just watch each others backs and you shouldn't have a problem.

Alternatively you could have both of you just die on the spot and get the Game Over screen to get this Achievement the cheap and easy way.

I highly suggest you ask this person to help you with your 1 and 10 online versus wins, you may not get another chance.

This can be done in either a public or private online match. Setup an online co-op game with the number of lives set to one. Allow the first enemies to kill both of you then when you die, choose "Game Over" instead of continuing. After both players have died, the trophy will be yours. The servers are completely dead so post here to ask for help: LINK.

An Xbox Live co-op game must be played to a conclusion. The most obvious path is completing the entire game. Invite a buddy, set the difficulty to very easy, max out those lives and this is an easy half hours work.

You will also get credit if you get a Game Over too.
