How to unlock the Bleeding Knuckles achievement in Streets of Rage 4 - Definitive Guide

Stage : level 7 Skytrain on Easy Difficulty
Character : Skate(Sammy)-BK3

you got everything but this achievement, I recommand to repeat stage 7

If you hit, earn 10k(A rank) - 15k and If perfect clear, earn 16k - 20k about 2min 30sec to 3 min.

I'll attach my perfect clear video.

Great method. If you want a break from this, you could try beating levels on Mania. First time clears at A rank are worth 40k, B rank 20k. I haven't managed an S yet but I'd guess 60k. With the points earned throughout, I was over 120k for 2 levels.

If you’re good at the game you can play on ‘mania’ difficulty which will give you about 80’000 points per level if you can get a ‘S’ rank

I recommend S ranking each level on all difficulties if you can. I couldn't nail the last few levels on Mania, so I did S ranks on Hardest and the ones I was missing on previous difficulties to get some really solid bonuses too.

Another level I chose to grind to break up the monotony of level 7 is level 3. I use Dr Zan or Shiva and speed thru it chaining where I can. With Dr Zan just spam his special, and with Shiva just spam is fwd, fwd,x move. Whichever you prefer. Bpth move and kill quickly.

I would recommend saving this achievement for last. I finished all but this one achievement with 3.500.000 points more or less (I probably finished the game like 15 times by now, to make the other achievements). Now I'll start to grind the 1.5 million points left for this last achievement, in the metro stage 7.

Quick tip, if you move up to Hardest and Mania, every level you complete on those difficulties for the first time with a character you haven't beaten it before with, ALONG WITH getting an A or S rank, gives you a huge point boost. For example, I got an S rank on Precinct with SoR 3 Skate on Mania and got 28,000 + an additional 78,000 for getting all ranks on that difficulty for the first time, plus the extra 2000 for beating it with Skate for the first time.

^ this is the best way to grind. The bonuses help a ton.

Since the combo update this level gives a lot more points now. On a perfect run I was scoring as high as 27K. Not bad for a 3 min+ run.

I was worried that this was an additionn of the best score of each stage. Thank God!

Do you only get the first clear once per character, or once per difficulty and does the bonus scale with difficulty?

Once per character, if you meant the 2000 point first clear.

I'm pretty sure the bonus scales with difficulty but I can't confirm.

Anyone know if the score you get from the new survival mode DLC counts for this?

Seems the overall score total for Story is completely separate from the leveling up system of Survival. I played lvl 1: The Streets, made note of my score, then did a Survival run. Loaded up and beat lvl 2: Precinct, and at the end screen, my overall score had only increased by what I just attained for the Precinct run - no points from Survival :(

I recommand Arcade mode to boost this one, select a different character for each run so you’ll get 24,000pts bonus, select the difficulty you want and you could easily ends with 250,000pts per run.

I'm mean Dobermann X comment. It makes no sense to waste time in arcade for 250k points if you can the same points in half of the time (or more) during replay the same short mission over and over again.

@Zasta There are also achievements for completing the story as each character or group of characters (as well as bonus score), so Dober's method means those achievements can be unlocked whilst working towards the 5 million total, saving time in the long run for the full completion

LOL! No sense? If you like to waste your time doing the same thing again and again just for a small amount of points, it's your choice. If you play the game normally, you will miss like 2.000.000pts and some achievements. Playing Arcade mode will help for the points, and also help to master this mode to get the related achievement. And an optimized strategy is always better than doing the same level in loop just for one achievement.

Everyone has their own methods of how best time can be utilised for their personal processes
That for me was getting all of the All Clear achievements and Maniac & 50 Yen, got this by the time I was done with my second DLC All Clear achievement, no grinding for this specifically required.

U can earn around 1.3 millions I think in one run on manic getting some S ranks, I already had S on the 1st levels that's why I didnt get 78k points on some levels here is my run solo http://www.twitch.tv/andreflash83/v/613402572?sr=a&t=25s

@doberman @zatsu if you were going to attain this by grinding the same level with the same character, there's no reason not to work towards this cumulative total and unlock other achievements (best arcade with all a characters) at the same time first. Grinding the points first is an approach I wouldn't take if I was getting points for working on other things anyway. For me personally, high cumulative achievements like this are always the last I work on. Both methods work, it seems logical to work on other achievements as you passively work towards this though

Everyone has their own methods of how best time can be utilised for their personal processes, some work for people, some don't. I've learned so much from taking other's approaches and trying them out. That's what this whole site is about ☺️

Just as a reference point: Including all DLC-characters and finishing the S-ranks on hard I had 3.6 million points, so 1.4 more to go.
I think without the DLC you would get a lot of points by trying levels over and over to get S-ranks on hard, but the DLC makes S-ranks so easy that you don't need that many replays.

The other solution here is good but I found a better method because it's less monotonous repeating the stage 7 over and over for just 10-12k points, if you're planning to get 100% achievements. For this you need adquire the DLC.

According to the others achievements like S-Hard run, every character's run on easy difficulty (incluiding the DLC characters), the perfect stage (no hit damage) and the arcade hard run, you'll get around 4 millions and 4,5 millions points (or maybe a bit less, idk). In my case I got 4,6 millions while getting all achievements but this one.

At this point you will know the enemies pattern so I recommend to run with Shiva character and his bitz attack move (cn_right cn_right cn_X) on Very Hard, Maniac and Maniac+ diffculty. Just spam his blitz attack move as you can. You don't even need finish all stages. Until Stage 3 or 4 every diffculty is fine.

For example, on Maniac+ on Stage 2 I got S with 125k points just spamming his blitz attack move. Others stages I got C-B-A ranks on Very Hard, Maniac and Maniac+ which means less score obviously. In one hour I got 400k points running on these difficulties.

Good luck, this game is very good but it's so grindly getting all achievements.

This will likely be the last trophy you earn since 5 Million points is a large amount. Save this for last since everything you do and complete adds to your Lifetime Score. After doing everything else I landed around 4 Million, so there's a decent amount of grinding involved. As long as you complete whatever Stage you are playing, the score will be added to your Lifetime Score. If you are trying to grind this, I personally found Stage 12 on Hard to be my most efficient route. A solid run can net you at least 40,000 points and a bad run can still get you at least 25,000 to 30,000.

Will most likely be the last achievement you unlock. After your 10+ story completions you should be somewhere between 1 and 2 million. (depending on skill and playthrough style). Find a level you are comfortable with playing on hard and start grinding.

Points are given for completing levels. Their number depends on the efficiency of your game, your remaining health, the number of players and other parameters. By gaining points, you can unlock old-school hero skins that are needed for the “Complete SOR1/SOR2/SOR3” trophies.

Complete the game on DIFFERENT difficulty levels - you will receive bonus points for achieving different ranks on the corresponding difficulties.

It seemed to me the easiest way to boost level 7 on easy difficulty with the character shiva. On average it takes from 2 to 3 minutes to complete a level. points upon completion from 10k to 30k, if you get hit with a combo in the middle of a round, for example, don’t waste time restarting, try to get the maximum out of the boss.

If your skill allows, you can complete levels on the high difficulties Hardened and Mania. For reaching a high rank (A or S) for the first time, you get quite a lot of points - you can raise 40-50 thousand per level.

Indeed, there is no need for a boost; for all 10 playthroughs, only 3.8 million accumulated. I decided to forget about it, but quickly got tired of it. I started playing on Hardened difficulty and ended up getting the missing points in half a day. On this difficulty, rank S gives 39k, i.e. for the level they gave 55k-80k. Even if the counter is knocked down, continue, they also pour a lot behind AB.

And it’s worth noting the “Boss Battles” mode, for the first complete completion they also give you a decent amount.
