How to unlock the I Am the One achievement in Streets of Rage 4 - Definitive Guide
Use Cherry, she has the best move in the entire game but you have to unlock it first.
Play survival until you get unlock her new blitz move SLIDING KNEE. One you have this, entire waves of enemies will melt away.
First off, play weekly since the stages are fixed so even if you die, you know what the enemy and stage placement will be (until it switches over next week).
Focus on acquiring and upgrading the following
Toxic on blitz attacks
Electric on Blitz Attacks
Weapon power up
Fire on knockdown
Toxic on Blitz Duration
Any element effect on Weapon
If you can get this powered up a few times by Wave 20 the screens will be constantly flashing different colors as you poison enemies, electrocute them and they take more damage as they ground bounce from fire. At this point, you can safely set yourself up to do sliding knee again until everything is dead.
Some random tips
Golden weapons are amazing and sometimes you can find them lying on the ground in the later rounds. When you have element effects on weapons you can clear entire waves of enemies (even if they are boss characters) in a matter of seconds. Once you reach the waves in the 20s, try to keep one with you so if a strong character appears you can melt them in a matter of seconds. If a weak enemy appears, just toss the weapon at the wall so you can use Sliding knee on the weak enemy.
The Golden Boomerang is great if you can come across it in later stages. Pick it up, head to a corner, throw it and it will hit all the enemies rushing into your position. Catch it when it returns to you and throw it again until it breaks or the enemies break your formation.
The wrecking balls are extremely good at clearing enemies (even boss characters) in seconds, sometimes knocking them out the stage. Use Cherry's Sliding Knee on the wrecking balls to set them in motion and Cherry recovers fast enough for you to move out the way and hit whatever enemy is trying to chase you. Head to the very top of the screen after using slide kick on the ball and you should be good to use slide kick or whatever again safely at the top of the screen.
While the sliding attack is godlike, in stages with conveyers or are just slippery, you have to be extremely careful using it as you can easily mistime it to land on a stage hazard or be setup to be easily attacked by an enemy.
If Nora (the dominatrix boss in red) ever appears TAKE HER OUT ASAP!! The last thing you want to see is a screen full of Super Saiyan Galsias coming out you!!!
Hoard your stars for supers and save them to bail you out in a pinch. Cherry's super allows you to control the direction she moves in so it's a great move to escape the corner and cause some damage all the way.
That's about it. It might take a few runs but you should be able to easily get it with some practice.

And for the record, I’m not the one that downvoted you. I’ll upvote just to cancel out the troll.

So I just beat it with Max and I kid you not, it was really easy.
The main thing I focused on was getting elemental damage for his blitz. His blitz is really powerful and can interrupt most enemy attacks (damn you Mr. Y).
Once I got the perk that stops me from gaining health from eating food but gives me health through hitting…it was over for max.
If you’re struggling with this like I was..give max a try.

This trophy is to get to level 30 in the survival mode. The character I used was Shiva with the flying kick. The first 10-15 levels weren’t too bad, but after that you get the bosses and the enemies that glow red (they have 3x more life than their normal adversaries).
I just spammed the with the combo when I connected for extra damage. And just repeated.
After each round you complete, you get a perk that will hopefully help you as you go. The perks I focused on were attack and defense. I had elemental damage on my flying kicks and my heavy attacks.
In one level, at one point, I had a 800 combo and would go through the round taking little to no damage.
Also, be careful of potential levels with harms, like a pit, fire or electric fence around the ring. Use them to your advantage if you can. You can get in a bad spot and never recover from it.
It may take you a few tries after trial and error to see what character works best for you and what perks are best. 30 rounds took me roughly an hour or so.
I hope this solution helps out.
Happy hunting!

If The possibilities are endless is the most time-consuming trophy of the DLC, this one is definitely the hardest.
Survival Mode has you facing infinite waves of enemies. After each wave you are rewarded with a power-up (you'll have to chose between 2-3 random options) and move to a different stage, and every 4 waves is a boss round. If you survive it the difficulty increases, which means you'll face stronger ennemies and in greater numbers, and so on until you're defeated by running out of health.
I won't explain everything about Survival Mode as this would be too long for a trophy guide, but I strongly recommend you to check |iG| Vertigo's in-depth guide which does a tremendous job detailing pretty much everything there is to know: the basics of this mode, general gameplay tips, the stages and their hazards, the power-ups, how scoring works and even character builds and tips.
However, for those who don't feel up to the "git gud" challenge, I will lay out a simple method that will greatly help your chances to unlock this trophy. It relies on the Blitz attack () and its elemental upgrade power-ups:
In addition to these power-ups, I would recommend the following ones:

However, for those who don't feel up to the "git gud" challenge, I will lay out a simple method that will greatly help your chances to unlock this trophy. It relies on the Blitz attack () and its elemental upgrade power-ups:
- Electric: stuns and damages surrounding ennemies
- Toxic: inflicts damage over time
- Fire: creates a patch of fire where the ennemy lands, stunning/knocking over and damaging surrounding ennemies
In addition to these power-ups, I would recommend the following ones:
- Blood Thirst (regain health by hitting ennemies at the cost of pick-ups only increasing your score) is practically essential in higher waves. Not only the ennemies hit so hard that there won't be enough health pick-ups for you to keep up, but your Star Move (especially if combined with the added rockets of Tactical Support) will almost fully replenish your health bar.
- Ground Level (boosts base stats but prevents you to jump) is worth considering as well.
- Otherwise, Damage Up, Defense Up, elemental Heavy Attacks and 3 Stars can also be good options.
- Hey, Buddy (spawns an AI-controlled minion, with 4 variations having 4 tiers each) can help drive away some of the heat, but they usually don't last that long.
- If you're playing in coop, Altruism is hard to pass up as it offers a lifeline in case one of you meets their end prematurely.
This is unlocked once you reach level 30 in Survival. This is skill dependent, but sometimes weekly challenges are easier than others and also as you play the same enemies in these you can plan your upgrades better.
At the end of each level, you’ll have the chance to choose your upgrades. Most upgrades can stack so if you get the same one again it will increase it.
These normally fall into the following categories.
At the end of each level, you’ll have the chance to choose your upgrades. Most upgrades can stack so if you get the same one again it will increase it.
These normally fall into the following categories.
- Elemental Upgrades (Fire, Electric and Toxic) - Can be useful but some are more useful than others depending on how you attack, elemental blitz attack and normal are very useful and normally recommended, elemental weapons can be recommended but only if you frequently use all the weapons you see for instance. Elemental special attacks generally aren’t recommended as you use these least
- Damage and defence upgrades - The base versions of these are always recommended, ones that are situational e.g. extra attack when on full health much less so
- Trades off - Generally at higher levels these can get you killed, these are one such as do more damage but also have more damage dealt to you and will be purple in colour, normally best to avoid although if you are a larger character who can’t jump anyway, removing the ability for extra damage and defence is a good trade
- Golden Weapons - Earlier on you’ll want to go for other upgrades as these are single use and once broken can't be reused, later rounds especially later bosses they offer massive damage and can be a great way to get though the rounds especially from round 20 onwards
- Miscellaneous - There are a handful of options such as spawn and AI ally who if upgraded can be good, but if still level 1 isn't the best, generally best chosen when there isn't a better way to increase your attack
