How to unlock the Trooper achievement in Stuntman: Ignition - Definitive Guide

There has been some confusion over unlocking this achievement. You need to win a RANKED BACKLOT BATTLE with each of the following cars

Make sure its RANKED BATTLES, not RACES.

Light
Small Pickup
Taxi
Fire Chief Car
Henchman Car
Police Car
Merc Buggy

Muscle
General Stuart
Classic Muscle
Scorpion
Claudine
Venus Vexation
Armor All Si

Sport
R3000
Spy Car
Night Car
Black Dragon
Mvx Spartan
Big Top's Ride

Online is dead so find a friend and complete a RANKED BACKLOT BATTLE working through methodically.

Uggadunk managed to unlock this achievement without playing any of the campaign. Its over 4 years since I got the achievement. I thought I had to unlock a car before I finished this but maybe not.

You can try without starting the campaign but if you are missing a vehicle then complete more of the single player campaign to unlock them.

Can you set up a two round match for it to count? And take turns to win and change? Or does it have to be one round and switch...

You don't need to play any campaign to unlock this.

Unlocked without playing campaign. A friend did everything on campaign before completing this. Worked both ways.

do you know if there is a place where you can see with wich cars you take a win? because i play for long time this game and take some win, but I don't know what car I use for the win

I don't think there is anywhere to get the info. It doesn't take too long to run through a race with each of them though so just go through one at a time.

fyi, i just won 18 in a row ranked with all cars and got nothing. I will keep at it but not sure if this is glitched. thumbs up.

I guess you gotta read it. I wasnt doing battles, did 40 races and nothing. Got it now on ranked battle, thanks. If your in a hurry its easy to leave it on backlot race. I think that is what lobo did too.

Unlock this achievement by finishing 1st in Backlot Battle with every vehicle, just as the description says. Remember it has to be ranked to make the achievement pop.

Bear in mind that I unlocked every achievement I could in single player before jumping to the online multiplayer to get the last batch of achievements. You might need to unlock vehicles through single player before you can unlock this achievement.

- Madda has confirmed you do not need to unlock SP vehicles to get this, all cars are unlocked by default in online.

To do your boosting a little more effective, you can go for these two achievements at the same time.
Stuntman: IgnitionUntouchableThe Untouchable achievement in Stuntman: Ignition worth 65 pointsPlace 1st in 12 ranked Backlot Battles without getting your string stolen

Stuntman: IgnitionSoldierThe Soldier achievement in Stuntman: Ignition worth 128 pointsFinish 1st in 10 consecutive ranked Backlot Battles


Just don't take turns winning, change vehicle between Battles and don't hit each other. The player who doesn't go for the achievements at present should hide in a corner and wait.

The inactive player COULD work on the Tornado achievement, but be very careful about it, because it could mess it up for both players if you ram each other in your struggles. I recommend you guys go for this in a separate Backlot Battle.

It's not a list of vehicles people need, its the methods on how to unlock them. This solution suggests this can be done straight off the bat jumping into Multiplayer. It cant

I finished off all single player achievements before jumping into multiplayer. So you're saying that cars used in the multiplayer has to be unlocked through singleplayer?

Yes. Cars are unlocked from getting at least 1 star in each scene.

Ugga, where's your source? It does says "every vehicle" and singleplayer unlocks vehicles for online use.

Confirming you don't need to unlock anything. The cars you unlock through SP are for constructing tracks i think. In MP every car is unlocked by default.

My gamerscore is my source. i haven't started the campaign, because I wanted to get the MP done first (since it's a THQ-game the servers might be shut down any moment)

You might have found a loophole - if it's all currently unlocked vehicles, it's less races to do online when you haven't unlocked the cars. I might have to look into this from a secondary account...

I had to win 18 races with all the 18 cars listed in HaPPy RoNiN NZ's solution.

For this achievement you must WIN a Backlot Battle with EVERY possible vehicle. You have to unlock each vehicle in single player first before you can use them Backlot Battle so finish the single player first. There are 18 vehicles in total.

Best done with a friend or find someoene in the forums.
