How to unlock the Passkey achievement in Styx: Master of Shadows - Definitive Guide

Easiest place to do this is during the tutorial level. as soon as you retrieve your dagger there will be a locked door to your left. save, pick the lock then reload and repeat until the achievement pops. If you decide to start a new game just for this achievement make sure to save your good file because it will get overwritten if it is the auto save file.

To get this early on

All you have to do is save in front of any locked door and unlock it. Then, reload your save and repeat.


(If you don't do this, the achievement will unlock through natural progression anyways.)

A few of the doors in missions will be locked when you find them. You may hold the button to unlock a door; it will take a few seconds. Once the door is unlocked, it counts for the trophy. Any successful door unlock is immediately saved and counted in your game data. If you die or simply restart, then it is still counted.

You will not need to farm this trophy if you do two playthroughs of the story as there are more than 20 doors required to continue the story.

Perhaps a glitch, but I got this trophy not when I was hacking another lock, but when I simply looked through the keyhole. Do this more often

You can just look through the keyhole 20 times. At the same door.

The trophy can be said to be a story trophy. During the passage there will be a large number of doors, just look into them until you receive the trophy.
