sometimes there is a delay in the game actually recognizing that you've fulfilled the requirements for the achievement. There are 3 (or 4) PDA's in that base, plus the water filtration machine plus the data box for the ultra high capacity tank. you may need all of them for the game to give up the achievement.

The PDA to trigger this one is on the top level titled Bart Torgal's Log #2 - Stalker Teeth

This will NOT pop for me, picked up all the PDA's (and read them), saved/exit/load save.
Last cheevo in the game for me, any ideas?

What triggers this unlocking? I've found the base, explored it all, found and read the PDA, and scanned the water filtration system. But it still hasn't popped.

Edit: I exited without saving and tried again, and got it this time. Turns out there's 4 PDAs there, and since I went in with repulsion cannon blazing, I apparently blew most of them into oblivion the first time. Iselectively used the propulsion cannon the second time and found them all. The achievement unlocked when I picked up the fourth one.

FYI, the entrance to the caves is right next to Lifepod 17.

Hey everyone, just a quick video showing where to go exactly for this one. You will need a Seamoth, and I recommend getting the Depth Increase mod but it's not necessary. If you head South-SouthEast from your LifePod you'll come to the grassy area with the tunnel going right into this base. Hope the video helps, and sorry for poor quality, trying a new editing tool out. Take care!

The second dwelling "Degasi" is located under the initial locations. If you swim relative to the side of the Aurora perpendicularly backward, then at the beginning of the Bloody Grass location you will see a large hole in the ground. This will be the entrance to the Jellyfish Mushrooms location. The approximate depth is 200 m. Carefully explore the area and find the base.

The trophy dropped after receiving the PDA on the floating island.
If you turn to the sea from the lowest destroyed Degazi house on the floating island and go left along the shore along the path in front of the tunnel, there will be a PDA on the ground that will give the coordinates of the underwater base and the trophy.
