Do you happen to know the exact name of the log in question? I've been to that base 3 times now I definitely grabbed everything that was there but no achievement.

I had to go back a couple times to find the right log. I can confirm that it's the one on the second floor (go in the third floor and swim down). It's on a counter/desk and called Degasi voice log #8 - Risk Taking.

I don't think it's a case of the right log as to finding all of the logs. I missed a log in the locker in the first room of the habitat.

Mansa is correct. You only need to grab the log in the location he describes to pop this achievement. Tested different ways on 6 different accounts for my guide and always this one to pop it.

Hey all, just a quick video showing where to find it exactly and what to watch out for. You'll need to head South-Southwest of the Aurora's engines, be careful not to travel right behind it! Once you get to the red reefed plains, head over the mountain and you'll start to see the "anchors". Be careful of the Crabsquids, make sure to hit them with your knife and it'll run away. Can actually kill them easy if you trap them against a wall. Make sure to scan the whole habitat, and grab the egg/orange tablet on the second floor. Hope the video helps!

The PDA in the locker of the Jelly Mushroom biome gives a signal to find the Deep Grand Reef Seabase. Alternatively the wiki has the co-ordinates -640 -490 -940. Co-ordinates can be found by pressing F1 and looking at the pop-up display.

It is located under the island with the first dwelling “Degasi” at a depth of 500 meters. You will see several holes in the ground that look into this location. The Sea Stompers Trail is also nearby. A large number of gas cocoons, squid crabs and guards. Look for a base somewhere in the middle of the location.

Don't miss the weasel egg at this base. the entrance to the room with the egg is separate from the “main” one (where the PDA is)
