This achievement isn't too hard, but it is recommended that you make some progress into the story before attempting it in order to unlock better weapons, amps and overdrives.
Once you have made progress, return to the first area (Brewery) and play the Old District Night Defense Challenge.
In the pre-night defense phase, set up traps like the pyro geyser, fling boards and death by decibel around the chokeholds near the wooden barriers. Just do your best to grind above the enemies, interact with traps and use good explosive weapons like the TNTedy along with deployables like the Acid Sprinklet & Turret Copter to keep enemies away from the gate. Once they begin to break in, follow them in and use the Freeze Bomb to slow them down from getting into the final area with the vat.
If you beat the night defense challenge without losing any Overcharge (indicated on the left side of the screen), you will gain the achievement!

Might be worth pointing out this won't unlock in the chaos squad mode.

Hey guys,
This achievement is not that hard to get. If you have been searching for guides to do this then you have noticed that most of them will say to go to the Old Factory District. Makes sense, it is the most easily defendable with only one vat to protect.
Prep-work is important; you have 2 outer barricades and 3 inner barricades. Set your traps behind the 2 outer barricades and in-front of the middle inner barricade. Most of the OD will congregate there.
Have your deployable weapons and any weapon that can kill mass amounts of enemies locked and loaded. Then wreak havoc.
This Achievement has multiple solutions; I will post my solution here as a guide for you all.

I find the easiest way to get this achievement is to re-play the first night defence in the brewery.
All you really need to beat it is the Taunt Bot weapon. Any time OD get near your vat or your barricades, fire a taunt bot near it and they will all attack it and ignore what they were attacking before. Combine the Taunt Bot with an explosive weapon like the TNTeddy and you'll beat it in no time.
Another good weapon combo for this is Taunt Bot, Acid Sprinkler, Pulse Mine. Fire these three next to each other and OD will just clear out.
A final tip - Fire the Taunt Bot onto a fling board trap to get rid of enemies easy, also helps to get the achievement for flinging enemies away!

Night defense missions are part of the campaign and you will do them as you progress, but as with every mission in the game you can replay them as much as you want. During these you will have to defend a VAT filled with Overcharge from an attacking horde of OD for a set time limit. You do get some traps to place but mostly need to rely on killing the OD yourself as quickly and efficiently as possible.
The easiest Night defense mission to replay for this is the first one that you do. You should progress through the campaign somewhat before attempting this, unlocking better traps and upgrading your weapons and Amps, then when you're ready, return to the first Night Defense mission, or select it from your log and complete it without any OD getting into your VAT.
The VAT will be in the center of the defenses and there will be some wooden barricades protecting it, but they can be easily ripped apart by the OD. You should try to put your traps inside or just on the outside of where the VAT is as a final defense in case anyone manages to get past you. I would recommend using deploy-able weapons and keep shooting the deploy-able projectiles at choke-points to kill huge amounts of OD at a time, as well as shooting them all around the VAT to keep any OD from getting to it.
Once you have completed an Optional Night Defense mission without losing any Overcharge, the achievement will unlock.
Note that this needs to be done on a Night Defense mission that you have already done, if you're doing the mission for the first time during the campaign and complete it without losing any Overcharge, the achievement will not unlock as you need to do it on one that you're replaying.
