I got this whilst goin for the bounce/grind achievements on a challenge called 'Weapon Challenge: TNTeddy'. Should get access to this challange after helping rescue the character Sam in the first few mission of the game.

In South-Central Little Tokyo, there's the Weapon Challenge: One-Handed Dragon. Right as the challenge starts, there's a tent in front of you that you can bounce on to accumulate style points. The weapon itself gives you lots of splash damage, making it easy to rack up kills. Just keep bouncing on the tent, and you'll max out your style meter. You may have to replay the challenge a couple of times to farm everything out.

In the mission to rescue Bryllcream you have to open the truck he is in. At the point where you are on the roof and you try to open the truck, the truck moves down the slope and you are attacked by OD. Just stay here and keep grinding the kills. You can also use this to level up your weapons as well. Ammo and health spawn frequently. I have the Amp that bursts flames as you grind. As you can see I've got a x999 combo. If you get knocked off the rail try to land back on it again. If you fall down you will break your combo, as I did at the end of this video clip.

You gain style by chaining traversal moves together. You can see your current style in the top right corner of the screen and it is a lightning bolt that is in four sections and filling each section represents each style level that you're at.
This will likely come naturally just by playing the game as you will constantly be grinding and jumping from place to place to avoid the enemies. Note that killing large groups of enemies at once will also add to your style and this achievement can be done while grinding kills for 'Orange Soda II' (see its description for full details) as long as you're maintaining bouncing on the drums, your combo will easily reach 999 (the maximum amount shown on screen) keeping you at style level three or above and getting you hundreds of kills towards this achievement in the process.
