This is easiest done with two controllers if you have an extra one.

Start a local multiplayer battle.

Set the following:

Rules - Battle Royale
Player - 4P
COM Level - Off
Sets - 1
Time - 1
Start Position - Fixed

Then set all the remaining options to 'Off'.

Start the game, choose a character for each controller, then press A on the main controller a couple of times to start the match, leaving out players three and four.

Once the round starts, just leave the controllers alone and let the time run out. Or you can blow up some blocks to gradually work towards the block destruction achievement, but you run the risk of making a mistake and killing yourself/your opponent.

Once the time runs out, you'll get the time out achievement. No need to run on to same spaces, dodge falling blocks etc.

This can be earned in any multiplayer battle mode (offline or online) and is easiest to unlock with two players. However, you could unlock it with any number of likeminded boosters.

Start a timed multiplayer match and clear the stage of soft blocks. Then have all players stand on the final safe spot (one space right of the center) and wait for time to run out. As long as everyone is standing on the last spot and dies from the last falling block at the same time, you should get a draw and the Achievement.

Set-up a 2 player multiplayer game with the following settings:

Rules: Battle Royale
Player: 4P
COM Level: Off
Sets: 1
Time: 1
Start Position: Fixed
Revenge Carts: On
Pressure Blocks: Off
Skulls: Off
Special Abilities: On

Pick any Level & Bomber Types and just wait for the minute to be up which will result in the game being a tie.

When the next game starts just drop a bomb on yourself to end the match and also unlock:
