How to unlock the Tenacious achievement in Super Dungeon Tactics - Definitive Guide
Attempt this after finishing the campaign and collecting loads of good gear.
I recommend replaying campaign quest (pink name/ribbon) III. Supply and Command, which if you play on Veteran you can ALSO go for the 'complete a Multi-Encounter Quest on Veteran without using potions' achievement as well and get two for the quest of one.
Simply take your best characters in with you; You get to choose 6 of them for this quest, though you get 3 bonus ones in the final encounter of the quest (the Warden and the Paladin, plus Candy). There are 4 encounters total; the first 3 focus on the 4 characters you send together, and the last encounter is for the 2 characters you tell to defend the town (again, joined by 3 extra).
Personally, I took the Dragoon, Barbarian, Snapjaw, and Chevalier, as I have all but the Barbarian equipped with items that when assigning Blue Specials to them, allow them to make interrupt bonus attacks anytime they are attacked. This allows you to clear the boards very quickly as well as protect you greatly. I also had a charm/medallion assigned to the Dragoon that granted bonus Shell Armor to nearby allies at round start. This also helps keep you alive (without needing to use potions).
For town defense, I sent Knight (for same reason as Dragoon above, interrupt attacking) and the Cleric (for heals and area damage).
To unlock the THIS achievement, wait until you get to the final Town Defense encounter, proceed normally (kill most enemies, protecting your two townspeople) until the option to send the townspeople upstairs (optional objective) shows up. At this point, do so, then start letting the last 6 or so enemies kill your party, save one you choose to do cleanup. (I chose the Cleric, as she had a Hammer equipped that did good area damage, plus a Red Special attack that dealt similar area damage and pushed enemies away).
I let the enemies kill everything but my Knight and Cleric (meaning 3 of the 4 party members dead required), then let them gang up on my Knight and whittle him down (lots of armor, so it took a few rounds) before having the Cleric go over and clear everything else up. Upon killing the last enemy, the quest ends, netting you this achievement and also the previously mentioned 'no potions' achievement, if you were good and used none.

Thanks to HateMe4141 for his suggestion of the above quest for the secondary achievement, for which he provided in his guide for said cheev.
Earning these achievements is not actually difficult at all if you wait til after completing the story; you'll have all the characters to choose from and you should have plenty of gear options.Simply take your best characters in with you; You get to choose 6 of them for this quest, though you get 3 bonus ones in the final encounter of the quest (the Warden and the Paladin, plus Candy).
