I was able to do this in a MAX 99 vs. Bad 0 Rating exhibition. RBIs are Runs Batted In (or runs scored by players on base because of your hit). R or Runs are when your player tags home plate. So what I did is loaded the bases up with 3 players and when my player hit the ball I held the Left Trigger so that all players ran home, but I made sure that my hitter was tagged out. 2 at bats clearing the bases I was able to get 6+ RBIs but since my player was tagged out each time no risk of him being credited with a R as well. Youll want to do this with 0 or 1 out as well.

Thanks! Could you please explain a little more in depth how to "tag out". I think it has to be done using the directional cross, but not sure about that, and the time at disposal is not that much!

Getting "tagged out" means the defensive player has the baseball in his glove and touches the offensive player when hes not on a base.

Question: once you get the 6 RBI and no runs scored, can you sub out that player to prevent any further at bats? Seems obvious but you never know with achievements haha

You must complete the game for the achievement to pop. Also once I had my 6 RBI I just struck out on purpose or bunted the rest of the way.

I'm so used to swinging for the fences, trying to just get on base is harder... lol

One suggestion: use A for contract rather than holding X for the power swing. Works much better!

stupid question, is there a way to check your stats during a game? i dont see an option in the pause menu...

No there isn't. But when the player you're attempting this with comes to bat, the game will show you that player's stats so far in the game. Just make sure you don't press A too early.

I got this playing on ego 20. Using Hammer Longballo of the sirloins (any player with high power and high contact will do).

Aim in the top part of the strike zone, and only use contact swings. I think if you play on too low of an ego like 0, you run more of the risk of hitting a homerun with a contact swing.

just got this in a season game on 0 ego, just played normally until someone got an rbi and then just tried to load the bases before they came up to bat and made sure that player didn't score. I was the moonstars and got it with the leadoff hitter, got lucky and got a double in the 3rd inning that scored three, then got three more throughout the rest of the game.

Just another note, if you are getting close to the 6 RBIs and your targeted batter comes to the plate with a runner already on third base, you can bunt and easily drive a run in with no risk of accidentally hitting a homerun.

Easier than I thought to get.

Played one of my season games, I was Nemesis and ego was lvl 15 or 20.

I picked a batter in the middle of the lineup, it happened to be Mash Tatters. I just kept hitting singles until I got to Tatters. Then I hit a decent hit between two outfielders where I would run in 2 or 3 of the basemen home. Then I had to get Tatters out so that he wouldn't get a run. Next at bat I made sure to try to steal a base or do something stupid to get Tatters out. Redo a couple times and Tatters would get 6 RBIs easy enough. Make sure to get him out while on base so that he never gets home.
