How to unlock the Leap of Faith achievement in Super Mega Baseball 4 - Definitive Guide
This achievement took me about 5 different tries to unlock even though my player had caught a ball that would have been a home run. It seemed like I finally unlocked it when my player both caught a ball that was going over the wall, and the player was up against the wall at the time that they jumped up for the catch. I had players catch balls that would clearly have been a home run, but they all had started their jump while still running before reaching the wall.
My strategy was to play my franchise in a ballpark that has short and shallow corner walls to allow for more catch opportunities for home runs. (This also helped my contact hitting team have more home runs throughout my franchise). It seemed that players with higher fielding stats could jump higher for wall catches. Setting the outfield to play "deep" also put them closer to the wall, which helped in the catch that unlocked this for me since the player had much less distance to run before they could "touch" the wall and jump up to rob the homer.

Stragety to this is play franchise in a ballpart that has short and shallow corner walls to allow for more catch opportunity for home runes. Players with higher fielding stats could jump higher for wall catches. Setting the outfield to play "deep" also put them closer to the wall, which helps in the catch.
