How to unlock the The Cycle! achievement in Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings - Definitive Guide

First thing, set your EGO as low as you want. Having a low EGO setting (mine is 0) may make the game boring but winning every game 35-0 and each batter getting 6-8 at bats make this (and all season) achievements easier to come by, also player stats have little effect if any. Timing is what's most important here.

So with ONE player it's time to get 4+ Hits/single game and try to hit for the cycle, here we go

Toughest part of this achievement is hitting a Triple and unfortunately there's no sure-fire way to hit one so what I did is whomever I hit a Trip with was my guy for the Cycle

I would do mostly contact swings cn_RSu and hope to send a line drive into the outfield gaps and always try to stretch any Double into a Triple (Speedy players make this easier)

Homeruns obviously would come from power swings
Build power by cn_RSd then cn_RSu to hit

Single...just hit the ball and stay at first

Achievement won't pop until after the game is finished so quick recap
Low EGO
Timing is everything (swings)
1 Player needs to have a career game by hitting a HR, Triple, Double + Single in a single game.

What if you have a single, a double, two triples, and five home runs?

Does that negate the achievement?

Do you have to have only one of each?

You only need one of each

Hi Steve. My question is different though. I know you only need one of each technically. But I was wondering if getting more than one of each breaks the achievement.

You sent me a message saying that as long as you have at least one of each, you should be good. So that answers that.

I think I may have done something wrong though because I had a player with multiple home runs, a single, a double, and a triple and yet I didn't get the achievement.

I was playing local co-op with a dummy second controller.Maybe that's the problem? Has to be done vs cpu?

When I got it my player had multiple of each so that shouldn't be a problem, I got mine during a season game against the CPU so it looks like it needs to be done there.

Bummer you had to find out the way you did but now we know I guess.

Any way of looking in the stats as you play to see if a player has them? The achievement tracker doesn't seem to work

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but before every at bat it'll tell you

Player Name 3-4
2 Singles Double

something like that

If a player gets a triple in their first hit do you still need them to get a single and double or do they automatically count with the triple?

No hits don't stack, you still need to get each individual stat.

Just tried it and it didn't pop during my exhibition game against a cpu at 0 ego. Guess I'll try again in a season game :P Having a speedy team helps alot for the triple and doubles!
