How to unlock the Wall Catch! achievement in Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings - Definitive Guide
Not so much a solution as a tip, but this doesn't have to be done by robbing a homerun. I was fooling around with my catcher near the backstop because I thought it was going out of play and I ended up climbing the wall to snag it. Hopefully this can be an easier/more common way for some of you!

After completing the catch, don't freak out if the achievement doesn't pop right away. Actually, before the achievement pops, your Xbox will automatically record a clip of your catch. Then afterwards, a few seconds after, the achievement should pop. At least that's how it worked out for me. Good luck with the catch & game on!

+1 from me, great guide, much easier to grab one at backstop.
Good tip on game capture first then achievement, exactly what happened to me too.

To obtain this achievement, you merely need to climb a wall to catch the ball. It does not matter whether or not the ball would have left the park or simply bounced off the wall, whether the ball is in fair or foul territory, etc. It also doesn't matter whether you climb the fence with an outfielder or the backstop with the catcher, for example. Simply press RB when close to the wall and the ball. If your player both climbs the wall and catches the ball, the achievement should pop.
In the example below, it does not appear that the ball would have left the park, yet the achievement popped for me on this play.
Here is another example, using the catcher to climb the backstop:
Note that, if done correctly, you should get an "Epic Catch" bonus. Good luck!

Best way that I found to do this is go exhibition mode with a second controller. Pitch a meatball above the top of the strike zone where it would be called a ball, maybe 2 inches on the screen above the top of the strike zone, and just time it correctly with a normal swing. It's the closest I could get to where the outfielder runs back and you just have to time the jump correctly.
