As stated, you have to score 3 goals in one game with the same player. It can be any match and player and it doesn't need to be a "pure" hat trick in the sense that there can be goals scored by other players or teams in between and it doesn’t have to be in one half either. If you play a game on the Very Easy difficulty setting this trophy won't give you any trouble.
