How to unlock the Master of points achievement in Super Weekend Mode - Definitive Guide

This is actually really easy to get by playing the 1st level on the hardest difficulty, all it does is simply take longer and nothing drops that can kill you (no dust bunnies or skull heads), concentrate and keep your focus on getting a long streak and the points will come easily, i had 72k once the level was beat where as on easy you will need to do some work into level 2 where things can kill you, dieing cost you a chunk of your score

Totally agree! Couldn't get it on easy difficulty after 4 or 5 attempts, but I got it on my first attempt at hard difficulty!

I did do it on easy and with a bit of practise you can do It 1st level as long as you don't miss absolutely everything, however when i mopped up the last achievement for playing on max difficulty i thought I'd give it a go and that's when i learnt how easy it was to amass points like this so thought it was well worth sharing!

234k with a 701 chain at the end of level 1 with the Gunner outfit on hard.

This is easiest done on easy difficulty, Set the difficulty to 1 Heart (which is just the Yellow Heart).

Launch the game... and on the first level grab every heart, which should be rather easy and you should be nearly there. Have a very good run on the 2nd level and you just hit 50,000 points quickly.

Play level 1 with the Gunner outfit on and play on Hard. Points rack up like crazy and you will have it in no time!

Points are attained by collecting hearts, defeating dust bunnies, and shooting the boss. The bigger your chain, the higher your points will go. The point totals required for these achievements will come naturally as you progress through stage three. You'll reach 30,000 points by the end of the first stage and 50,000 points during the second stage. Just make it a point to collect as many hearts as possible in the first and second stages, and defeat as many dust bunnies as you can, and you'll easily unlock these point achievements by the time you finish the second stage.
