how is this not a story related achievement then? is this avoidable?

To clarify - you don't need to clear all the rooms, just get to the "birth" node (two exclamation marks) which reveals the entrance to the second level (an upside down U). The quickest route seems to be straight up the middle (two nodes) then right at the top.

The other nodes are useful for other achievements, hacks and so on but that's it.
