How to unlock the Deep Web achievement in SUPERHOT - Definitive Guide

From the main menu select the Apps folder, then "ggroups.exe". After 20 minutes the text will stop then start again in about 15 seconds. When it starts again the achievement will unlock.

Did this, left my console on for 45 minutes, and the conversation was on it's third loop. Never stopped, achievement didn't unlock. :/

Tested with two other accounts to figure what could be causing this but it unlocked on both. Just out of curiousity, have you found all the secret terminals on each level?

I haven't. But based on the other people who've unlocked this, that is not required.

It could be my controller disconnecting and restarting the loop or something. I'll try again tomorrow!

Not unlocking for me either, even though the text reaches a repetition. Finished the SP beforehand.

Mine went through a few cycles too. I went back into the game (I was on level 7, haven't beat it yet), paused after an attempt, and the achievement popped. No clue why.

ok so this one "glitched" for me . i did it exastly but it didn't pop so i load up the game today and rite away it poped for me so idk .

Damn it lol, before starting the actual game I explored these folders, found the groups one and sat in it, had a feeling it could lead to a cheeve, plus it was interesting.
When it stopped, I waited like 10s before giving up and exiting it

Had mine running for 10 hours and it still didn't pop.
/edit/ Looks like my xbox decided to stop tracking all achievements (even 'Red'), so a restart fixed it.

Took about 15 minutes for me. I wiggled the sticks every now and then so the controller does not disconnect.

glitched for me. shut down the game, reloaded, started the main story, paused and it said i had a message... pressed A it brought me to guru cult chat... achievement popped instantly.

If something was broken, they must've fixed it because this achievement popped for me after about 21 minutes. The text reached the end at almost exactly 20 minutes, then remained kinda frozen for maybe 20-30 seconds, then restarted -- about 10-15 seconds after it restarted, the achievement popped. (I did NOT press "B" until AFTER it popped.)
Following the suggestion of other players, I did occasionally tap the right stick so my controller wouldn't shut off.

Before I was actually trying for this achievement I'd already watched a little of the 'scene' and I remembered where it started. Whenever it got to that part just now when I was going for this achievement it didn't pop at the very beginning part, it popped right after it looped past the point where I started watching today.

This did not pop for me until I quit the game and restarted it (after sitting through the chatroom).

This did not pop for me on the first go around. Came back after having finished the game and with all terminals discovered. Popped just find then.

From the main menu, select the APPS folder and then the ggroups.exe. Watch the chat conversation for 10 - 12 minutes to unlock the achievement.

All you need to do for this one is, after finishing the game, go to the main menu, select the ‘Apps’ folder, and then choose the groups.exe file. This will load up a conversation that will last 10-15 minutes, just watch this conversation play out and this trophy will be yours.
