In chapter 2 (Optical), right at the start, go through the reception to see a vending machine. Get any drink from it and take the can forward, and around the corner. Near the fire extinguisher will be a bin. Use this bin to deposit the can inside.

This didnt unlock for me for the trash bin right next to the vending machine!
Take the soda, follow the hallway and take your first right, there should be a fire extinguisher, fire alarm and a pretty trash can, put the soda in there!

You will need to do a few things with soda cans in this game for a variety of trophies. See Take Your Trash Elsewhere 
for the guide compilation of all soda related trophies.
For this trophy, get a soda out of the dispenser (this is best to do in the Lobby area at the beginning of Level 2, Optical)
Simply throw the can in the trash bin to the left of the soda machine. I suggest you do this with the first soda you get out of the machine so that you can get both Environment Saved!
and Take Your Trash Elsewhere with the second can out of the machine
for the guide compilation of all soda related trophies.For this trophy, get a soda out of the dispenser (this is best to do in the Lobby area at the beginning of Level 2, Optical)
