In chapter 2 (Optical), right at the start, go through the reception to see a vending machine. Get any drink from it and drop the can in the bin next to it. This will get you the Please recycle achievement.
Get a second can from the same vending machine, and then go into the reception room you just came through. In the dark corner (if you're coming from the vending machine room, it's at the back right) is a dark blue recycling box right next to another trash can. Put the second drinks can in the recycling bin for the Environment saved achievement. Now pick up the can, and take it with you through a couple of corridors until you reach a T-junction in a red-carpeted, white-walled room. Take the right turn and you'll see a large, 'rounded' bin with a lid and a hole in the side. Put the can inside THIS rounded bin for this achievement. It'll spit it back out at you.

This is really odd. I missed this achievement on my first playthrough and worked from a guide as I went through again.
I had the "Please Recycle" achievement (putting the can in the trashcan in the reception area) from the first playthrough and so on the second playthrough I dropped the can in the recycle bin and got the "Environment Saved!" achievement. Nice.
I then went to the end of the hallway and used the trashcan that should have gotten me this achievement ("Take Your Trash Elsewhere") but it didn't pop. I got a second can and it still didn't pop. I then restarted the checkpoint, tried again, and it still didn't pop.
I restarted the game (went to the dashboard and hard quit before starting again) and upon getting a can I was going to go through all receptacles: trash, recycle, then wrong trashcan. Upon dropping the can into the trashcan in the reception area the achievement popped.
I think in order for the "Take Your Trash Elsewhere" achievement to work, you have to drop a can in the trashcan in the reception area AND one in the trashcan that will spit your can back out.

This works but the order was different for me. I got 'Take your Trash Elsewhere' for the bin next to the vending machine and 'Please recycle' for the bin that spits it out (I had none of the three achievements)

For this trophy, get a soda out of the Soda dispenser (this is best to do in the Lobby area at the beginning of Level 2, Optical)
You are only able to get two sodas out of a machine before it breaks down so I suggest you save this trophy for after you have already fulfilled the requirements for Please Recycle
and Environment Saved!
