How to unlock the Fear my Botany Powers! achievement in Surviving Mars - Definitive Guide

In order to unlock this achievement you need to improve the planetary conditions using Terraforming machines and Special Projects that improve 2 Basic planetary conditions; Temperature and Water. Once those values are high enough then you will be able to plant trees using a Forestation Plant.
Water is easiest to improve by building lots of Huge Lakes, just make sure you have the Water Production facilities to run them. (Temp at 25% Minimum required for Liquid Water)
Temperature is improved by using GHG Factory and Core Heat Convectors.
Once you are at 35% Temperature and 35% Water you will have access to plant Pine Trees at your Forestation Plant. Forestation Plants require Power to Run and Seeds to Plant. Ass soon as you select Trees in an active Forestation Plant the achievement will unlock.

First research the 'Adapted Vegetation' technology, then raise the terraforming parameters to 17.5% Water and Temperature, then set your Forestation Plants to begin planting trees.
