This is best done just waiting until you are able to build a Mega Dome. It has a lot of building space, so it's straightforward to get enough residential buildings created, along with having sufficient jobs and facilities to keep everyone employed and happy in the dome.
Six Living Complexes and one Apartment Building will allow breaking the 100-resident barrier. Along with that will be plenty of space for factories, farms, restaurants, space bars, shops, and parks. This will make the dome a desirable place for colonists to move.
It shouldn't be difficult to accomplish this during a full playthrough of the game.

You’ll likely achieve this when going for Multiplanet Species trophy. Larger domes can accommodate more residences and thus more colonists while having space to build other amenities and maintain a decent Comfort level.
