How to unlock the Fun and Games achievement in Surviving the Aftermath - Definitive Guide
As might be expected, the game arcade is one of the most resource intensive buildings, and you can't unlock it until the end of the community tech tree. 5 of them will take a total of:
900 concrete
425 components
225 electronics
400 fun boxes
First, I focused on this BEFORE any other high end achievements, including the automated extractors, since once you've completed the fifth, you can break them down and reuse the parts. It's a lot easier than building other expensive building and then trying to build back up to this. The components, specifically, will be VERY handy in other buildings (like power).
First, send scavenger settler outposts to collect rare earth metals and fun boxes. You MUST use settlers to find enough of these. Fun boxes are especially good because once you've used them, you can sell them to other colonies for quite a lot.
Components can be manufactured in your electronics factory. (I built 2 of these.) Make sure you have metal extractors running nonstop (multiple, if necessary). I found that metal was my biggest holdup.
Once you get enough components, you can switch the factory to electronics to knock these out.
Set up in an area where you're going to want electricity anyway, and build all 5 together. Once the last is built, tear them down (I kept 1 for entertainment value and the Bread and Circuses achievement) and use the space with the now surplus power supply.
Hope this helps!
