How to unlock the Bullet of Bullets achievement in SWORD ART ONLINE: FATAL BULLET - Definitive Guide

Kirito mode will be unlocked story mode wise, you will not miss it. Go to the main menu and press start game (don't load). You will get two options, your OC or Kirito mode, click the latter.

Death Gun will be the last boss in Kirito's mode. You will have to fight multiple goons before meeting him but it shouldn't take more than half an hour. I did have some trouble fighting him but as long as you have the self healing gadget you should be fine.

Kirito mode will be unavailable at some point if you decide to fight the final boss in the game. You will be warned so make sure to finish this first!

How far in to the story do you need to be to unlock Kirito mode.
It has been sometime since I last played, but it is pretty far along in the story however you cannot miss it. The game will give you warning pop ups and everything explaining the mode to you.

I beat him by simply circling him and firing the pistol and he died relatively easy even in Extreme mode.

Note: This did not pop for me in Normal mode even though I played through Kirito Mode each time when I went for the following (aka rolled back time twice)
A True Hero - Beat the game with the true ending.
Fall of the Uncrowned Queen - Beat the game with the normal ending (Zeliska's death)
A Lost Friend - Beat the game with the normal ending (Kureha's death).

When I moved on to Extreme mode and reached the Kirito mode I played through it and when I beat Death Gun this time the achievement popped.

MISSABLE

Once you unlock Kirito Mode log out of the game and instead of pressing continue click on Start Game then select your save file, this will allow you to swap to Kirito mode and participate in the BoB. If you are having trouble defeating Death Gun, lower the difficulty and try again.

Death Gun is the final boss of Kirito Mode. This new mode unlocks toward the end of the main campaign, and is accessed via the main menu (don't select "Continue" to load straight into your campaign). Simply play through this additional content to unlock this achievement.

Bear in mind you'll also unlock the "That's Kirito for You" achievement during this mode.
