How to unlock the The Ultimate Warrior achievement in SWORD ART ONLINE: FATAL BULLET - Definitive Guide

After the latest update, I found that farming on extreme doesn't do the trick anymore for weapon proficiency. The current fastest way to increase proficiency is in fact to play on easy, and buy the weakest but fastest weapon of whatever type from the weapon shops, and assuming you're dual wielding which helps increase the process faster, fight either the boss in Subway A in the third area the Old South, or the boss at the end of Subway B.

The Subway A boss that you're normally supposed to run from while activating those 9 switches, killing it can increase your proficiency by an average of 50, while the boss of Subway B will increase it by around 30, but the latter is shorter to fight which can be more preferable with some of the weapon classes. I stuck to just repeatedly fighting the Subway B boss for the photon sword proficiency which took the longest to get to 1000 by far.

*Sniper Rifle and Gatling Gun are the only ones that don't have any kind of dual wield function (dual wield grenade launchers for the Launcher class), but with these bosses they didn't really take longer than the other weapon types. While using the Gatling Gun, I recommend using the Heat Detonator skill that is exclusive to the Gatling Gun class, which quickly discharges much of the heat level of the Gatling Gun, so use it as you're about to overheat to save yourself some headache of not being able to shoot for a good minute or so.

Things I did that made survival easier during the farming process, was just using the skills Armor Form (increase your defense) and Power Break Shot (lowers the enemy's attack power) on the bosses, while having one or more healer in my party, but to ensure they don't do much damage to the bosses, I just kept picking the order for them to rendezvous on me.

You can rotate between whatever characters though if you want to increase anyone's affinity during the weapon farming process, since returning to town after a fight increases affinity by a small amount and you'll be doing that a lot and for awhile, between fighting either of the area 3 bosses and returning to town to deposit or sell materials so you don't become overweight, or to restock on ammo, etc.

I'm just started to farm this and boutny and was curious if farming the gatekeeper in front of the SBC Flugel Bow was a good choice too? You can run in and out quickly and have it respawn. Seems like you get decent bounty as well since its a Unique Enemy. It's definitely mind numbing, but seems to be efficient. I'm doing Launchers first and it looks like I get 30+ per kill

Great pointers, The gatekeeper was extremely boring! Just figured the traveling was so limited that it would help, but I will try the Subway A boss next time.

No matter how it's done..it's definitely NOT fun. Thanks for the extra bounty info too.

I'm running the forgotten temple dlc dungeon on easy difficulty with ng+/exreme rank 6+ weapons. So far i get 250-260 weapon xp per run (10-15 min). Maybe not the fastest way and you need decently high level, but definately not as boring as running and repeating a single boss all the time.

Edit: That amount of weapon xp was with a gatling and i've got most of the kills myself. Much harder to pull off with snipers and swords. Can't recommend weapons with physical bullets though unless you're very good in hitting weak points.

Definitely not a very good method currently. I ordered my squad to not attack so I'd do all the damage & get the kill, but I only get 14 points added to the weapon I'm working on (dual wield grenade launchers).

Hm... Well I guess whatever works for ya. I suppose the Gatekeeper could be efficient to farm off of too, though I imagine with its stomping move that stuns you and having to attack the weak spot on its back for maximum damage, makes it a pain to fight normally aside from using Launchers.

The Subway A boss, although annoying with its charge attacks like the Manhunter, is easy to shoot the weak spot for critical hits since you just have to aim at the horns on its head. I think getting critical shots from targeting an enemy's weak point increases your weapon level faster, though could be wrong.

Btw, this was what I did and recommend for farming the bounty rankings, given that you have a strong sniper rifle to pull it off well repeatedly.

I thought I would just add my own experience of going for this as the other guide/comments were many patches out of date when I did this.
There is a mob in the White Frontier, Solo Stinger, that I used to do all my non-100% weapons on. He is located right above the Field-Icicle Prison and will continuously spawn Glacial Emperor Wasp's that can be used to level up all weapons (even swords with some effort). Leave the Solo Stinger alone and kill just the small bees (lvl 70's or lvl 190's on Extreme). If you do kill the Solo Stinger just run out of the area far enough to not see then run back and he will have respawned again.
Took me about 1-3hrs per weapon to max all of them up from various points out of the 1000. Pop on any skills you wish to also level up at this time, affinity characters, and all weapons/skills can be maxed fairly quickly. Just like the other guide suggests, do duo-wielding on all weapons that can, and just have fun.
The sword requires you to use your UFG gun or stun rounds to knock the bees down before smacking them to death. This of course took longer then any of the others because of this, but can be done in 3-4hrs I'd say starting from 0 (my experience). The sword/gun combo can actually be done with just the gun to level up or again knocking the bee's down and smacking them.

Also I had trouble figuring out where to locate the weapon proficiency list my first time, so for anyone who can't figure it out go to your character on the menu, click status, and hit x (switch display) to page 5.

Hope this helps anyone looking for another option at tackling this slightly boring achievement.

Using weapons will increase your proficiency with those weapons. The best place to gain gun proficiency would be going between the Queen Wasps in the Solitary Sands. Swords are a bit more tricky, we suggest going to Remnant Wasteland and killing the scorpions and mechs that are around the Abandoned Town. See the video below of the Queen Wasp method. Note: My character is level 285 with a rank 11 weapon so you will not be able to kill them as quickly as I do:

To raise the level of a weapon type, you simply need to get hits with it. Rather than type a long-winded explanation when someone else has already done it well, I'd suggest reading this guide for leveling up weapons. He provides the weapons with the fastest RPM (rounds per minute) so you can maximize your hits, as well as locations to farm. You might feel like taking weapons that hit hard would be helpful as far as DPS goes (such as single shot pistols versus auto-pistols) but for this achievement, it will set you back. Also, be sure to start dual-wielding weapons as soon as you unlock the ability from Bazalt Joe (press on your weapon in the equip screen - you may need to increase your stats to manage this). Bear in mind not every weapon can be dual-wielded.

I got most of my weapons done while working on "Top Dog" so be sure to do that first. However, launchers generally need a group of enemies and the flying bees won't be good for swords, so use the suggestions in the thread above for those weapons.
