Complete 10 Contracts against members of your syndicate

How to unlock the Oh no you don't! achievement in Syndicate - Definitive Guide

For this achievement, you must first join or create a Syndicate. You can then start contracts as certain players will excel in some categories while you will find certain aspects of gameplay that you are better at. These contracts begin to occur when other members of your syndicate advance further than you in any challenge and can include kills, reboots, heals, saviors, executions and variations on most of these.

To fulfill a contract, you need to surpass and essentially beat a syndicate member that is higher than you in that category. If you are not as advanced in one of the many kill-based categories, you focus on other categories such as heal- or reboot-based challenges. There are essentially many categories that allow players of different strengths to be competitive in their syndicate and I think these contracts are motivational tools for you to keep your edge while playing coop. The achievement is much easier if members of your syndicate are near you in rank and challenge progression because the numbers needed to complete contracts will be lower for you if you can keep up with your buddies.

I could not find an actual in-game counter for the total number of contracts completed, but you will see them appear in the post-game screen after completing a coop map. The completed contracts will be listed with your other accolades such as blueprint tokens acquired, challenges completed, chip upgrades acquired, etc. If you are not getting this achievement, it may be due to the fact that you are "top-dog" in your syndicate and you may have to allow your other syndicate members to catch up and pass you so that you can once again climb back up to the top and complete those contracts along your way! Happy hunting! toast

I think all contracts (vs. syndicate AND vs, friends) count. I got this after beating only one syndicate contract and the rest were against friends.

I got this without even trying working through the campaign with the same group of people.

A good way to boost this achievement is with reboots, team saviors, heals, and saviors. Get a boosting partner (or double-box) and join a syndicate together. You may have to remove some people from your friends list if you’re getting contracts from them.

You’ll be using the Western Europe level on normal as this is the quickest and easiest level. Each run through one person will be working towards completing their contracts. Work together to defeat the enemies but DO NOT heal each other and do not go down (so play conservatively). If you do happen to heal or reboot before the specific boosting point, make sure to take note of how many you have.

The first run, neither of you will have contracts. Eventually you’ll reach the second turret of the level that you need to deactivate. Clear out the enemies then have your partner stand in the turret’s line of fire with you right next to them behind cover. Keep rebooting your partner after they’ve been downed until you have five more than them. This will also count towards team saviors.

Now deactivate the turret and proceed to the next area. As soon as entering this outside area, have your partner stand by the stairs in enemy gunfire. Hang back and heal your partner when they have about 1/4 of their health left. Do this until you have five more heals than them and make sure you’re also receiving the savior bonus (which you get for healing them when they have very little health left).

Now finish the level. Your partner should now have four contracts from you (reboots, team saviors, heals, saviors). You can view your contracts from the Agent tab via the bottom option. Select Contracts and Challenges and they’ll appear on the right.

Run through the mission again, this time having your partner boost the reboots and heals. I’d always make sure to get at least five more than needed for the contract just to be safe. At the end of the match, the results screen will inform you if you’ve completed a contract. Continue running the level, each time switching who’ll be completing their contracts and you should both have the achievement within 7 matches.

It’s a good idea to upgrade your agent as you level up (via Chip Upgrades in the Agent tab), choosing health and damage reduction to lessen the chances of being downed. As getting heals or reboots when you’re not the one working on completing contracts can sometimes mess it up for the person who is.

Unobtainable due to Server Closure

Missable! Contracts are awarded to you IF and ONLY IF your Co-Op Statistics such as Total Kills, Heals, Specific Enemy kills etc...are lower than that of any member in your Friends List of Syndicate. Typically, contracts are awarded for beating your friend's progress. For example: If you friend has a total of 80 kills, including 8 Electric Armor kills in Coop, you may be asked to achieve 100 total kills and 10 Electric Armor kills. That counts as 2 Contracts.

For this reason, it is highly recommended that you join a Syndicate and work on this as soon as you start Co-Op Mode, along with other Syndicate-related Challenges, or you risk missing out on this once you've completed 100% and can not find anyone who has higher stats than you. This effectively renders you unable to Platinum the game, unless you somehow managed to be in the same Syndicate as someone who does have higher stats (and hoping his stats are practically within touching distance as well). You can check your current stats in the Agent tab.

For this, you will obviously need to be in a Syndicate. A contract is when a player is further along in a challenge than you. You can complete this contract by exceeding them in that challenge (like getting more liquid kills, healing more syndicate members, etc). On the stats and challenges screen, your contracts will be on the right side. You will want to join a Syndicate that has players with the same amount of progress as you do, otherwise, if you join one with members that have been playing for a while, your contracts will be for ridiculous values.
