The first chance that this can be achieved is in Chapter 8. The armor unit is carrying the minigun for the 'Wetware Integrity Policy' Achievement. When he appears make sure you focus all your attention on the armor unit and ignore the two escorts, wittle the health down until the armor unit is close to one of the escorts or vice versa and bob's your uncle.

Another option is to do this on Easy, if you aren't already. I found the Guards died immediately in the blast, no Backfire required. If you take the chip upgrades to give you 25% boost in DART time and the more damage dealt/less damage taken in DART options, you can just overlay, breach, strip an entire layer of armor, repeat. (In "Chapter Select" you re-pick your chips every time you start a level. Handy for specializing for something like this.)

but this strategy worked great, exactly where I picked up the achievement.

Something to make it a bit easier (I had a lot of trouble with this method). Kill one guard and right before you hack the last armor off the reactive, backfire the other guard when he is near the guy. Tried a few times before trying that but the armor explosion didn't kill the other guard.

ok this is what i did and got it my first try. Go to the the area in chapter 8 with the mini gun enemy kill one of the standard guys right away. then focus all ur fire on getting rid of the 2 health bars on the mini-gunner. once he is down to the final hack position him beside the remaining enemy. to do this go into dart mode and shoot the minin-gunner while he is immune and he will move backwards once he is infront or beside the other enemy trigger him to explode. If done on easy there is no need to backfire the guy first.

I found if you use alt. fire (down on d pad) it goes to semi fire instead of ato-fire so you don’t shoot the standard guys just the mini gun guy. I did this as with everything stated before. Easy achievement.

I had to do it a few times since the armor wouldn't take down the guard (he kept getting back up). Did the backfire trick someone else mentioned and that did the trick.

Yes good tip,easiest place to get it plus its right after a checkpoint so you can reload if it doesn't pop first time.Using the semi-auto Kusanagi is best for precise shooting.

A good place to do this is Chapter 8. Here you will encounter your first enemy equipped with reactive armor unit, which is white in color and looks bulky in size. You can't miss this battle. The enemy you are looking for is heavily armored, bigger than all other enemies and uses a minigun. When his health bar is depleted he will explode. Once that happens you must make sure other enemies are nearby (so don't kill them yet!). At least one other enemy has to die from the explosion. If it didn't work you can reload the last checkpoint and try again.

The first time you can get this achievement is on Chapter 8 and best played on easy (just so you don't have to worry about the lackeys). You'll know you're at this point when you encounter a cutscene with a big, white armored guy holding a minigun. Breach the big guy's armor and shoot his health down, then do the same thing again. When you have breached him twice and shot down his health, lure him over to a lackey and breach him one final time. His explosion should take out his friend, and you will get the achievement immediately. If for some reason you fail, you can also reload your checkpoint and start right at the beginning of the fight.
