This isn't actually too bad, and is most easily done on the first area. Each level has six stars in total available, three for speed and three for points. You don't have to get all six in one run, just one run for speed and another for points.
The first bunch of sub levels everything is pretty much lined up in order, so with a bit of practice you can do most of the areas at full speed. You can afford to slow down a little near the end, especially on the last level as the order is random, but as soon as you have filled one taco you can just speed through to the end.
The points one is a little harder. Again, the first bunch of levels are very straightforward, but make sure you slow right down with
so you don't miss anything. Don't worry about time as you don't get rewarded extra points for speeding through. You don't have to be perfect , but if you think you have messed up a level, you can pause and restart that level (eg if you are on 1-5, you will start at that checkpoint.
