How to unlock the Abduction! achievement in Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master! - Definitive Guide

Items in the shop are random and rotate daily (at 5AM your time zone). You can either reroll the store for 1,000 coins or wait until the needed items show up - the Holstein (cow) head for 800 coins and UFO body for 800 coins - to purchase them. Once you have them, equip them to your avatar and play any song. You can even opt to put the Perfect modifier on in the options before selecting a song to fail out, saving time. After viewing the results, the achievement should pop.

If you want to save any coins spent, such as rerolling and purchasing the cosmetics, instead of closing the game out normally, delete the local save. That will get you back to any amount of coins saved prior - if you want to make sure your game is saved before purchase, close out the game and restart it. Please note: this is not a method of my personal experience; I'm buying to collect all the items and this will remove the items from your collection if you technically 'reset' your save after triggering the achievement. Posts on the forum for this game are pretty helpful with this method, if you need further clarification.

It’s the luck of the draw what shows up in the shop…wish they had a larger selection each day!

If it didn't cost 1K to reroll the day's items it would be great, maybe like 100

Yeah, they are a bit stingy when rewarding coins, too!

I just check every morning before work, determine the amount of coins I need for the day, go to work, come home and wait for double coin hours.

For anyone who reads these comments in the future before checking the walkthrough: Just buy different pieces every day. The ones you buy are removed from the random 8 that show up each day, so buying and keeping different outfit pieces will increase the odds of the pieces you want showing up. If you keep checking every day for head piece odds of 1/145ish that's going to take forever; just chip away at the odds so it's reduced down over time until you have all the heads you truly need. Same goes for bodies.

After spending a lot of coins trying to get those outfits, I decided to play on PC, and change the date. If you disable "set time automatically" on windows, the game won't start. You can disable "set time automatically" after loading the game.
If you don't get the outfit you need, leave the shop, change the date on windows and try it again.
