There's 59 nameplates to buy in the game, all costing 500 coins each.

This means that if you were to go into the shop, and buy the eight available (costing 4000 coins), and then pay 1000 coins to 'switch' the inventory of the shop (which allows you to get 8 more nameplates available without waiting a day for the store to refresh), you'll need a total of 36,500 coins.

I highly recommend that when you have 36,500 coins, exit the game to create a cloud save. Then load the game up, buy all of the nameplates, including using the 'switch' function until you've bought them all. Then, without quitting the game app, press the button, select the game on the left, click , then select 'Manage game and add-ons'. Go down to your saved data, select it, and then delete from console. This will force-close the game. When you reload the game, the game will sync with your save file from the cloud, where you'll still have the coins, you'll have your achievements, and you can save your coins for something else.
