How to unlock the Still More to Go achievement in Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master! - Definitive Guide

The fastest way to make coins in this game is by playing ranked games during double coin hours. The bonus hours last 2 hours and they occur 3 times a day.

As an average player I was earning anywhere from 7k to 15k coins in 2 hours. Since these double coin events occur 3 times a day you can get 20k - 30k a day just by playing ranked.

I would also recommend staying below the A rank, if you are at this level (or above) the songs become really difficult and you will be ranked with lower ranked players who will play the song on normal whilst you play it on hard, making it likely you will lose (unless you're good in the game and can get 900k+ points on hard).

Whilst there is no the double coin events active I would recommend playing the songs in Taiko mode and getting gold crowns on all the songs on easy and normal difficulty, getting a crown for the first time can net you 280 coins on easy and 300 coins on normal. However after getting the first crown it is not worth grinding songs in Taiko mode anymore as you will get very few little coins. Also for me personally Hard mode was too difficult and will net you only 120 coins for a silver crown which wasn’t worth it imo (getting gold crowns on this difficulty was too much for me).

There is also a way to get coins by failing a song set a 'perfect only' modifier. However this is extremely slow and boring way to get it done unless you have a turbo controller to AFK boost it with. If you don't have such a controller I would strongly recommend the ranked method.

The ranked method works amazing. I use B+ range and if I threaten to get into the A rank, I throw a few matches sometimes to lower my rank down. Also, if you're playing against a C ranked player within the B+ range, you won't get as many points to level up as you would against anyone with the same rank or higher than you. For example, C rank gave me 9 points compared to B+ ranked members giving me 40+ points.
