Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master!

Every day the game cycles through 3 songs being chose as bonus songs, you can find these songs out by hitting and filtering out the bonus songs. Upon completing the song you will get a 100 coin bonus for doing so, do this for the other 2 songs listed.

You will now have credit for 3 songs.

The achievement is to do this 90 times, meaning you will need to play the game minimum for 30 days and play the 3 daily bonus songs (there is another achievement tied to finishing a song for a month straight, so you will have to play the game that long regardless.

Every day, three of your songs are highlighted as ‘Bonus’ Tracks that give an additional 100 Coins for completion. The selection of Bonus Tracks resets when your Xbox Clock is at 5am, just like the in-game Store, meaning the reset time will be different for everyone, but consistent at 5am at your time zone.

You can easily find your Bonus Songs for the day by pressing (Start) to Filter whilst on the Song-List and choosing “Bonus” under “Show Filter”



With the above information in mind, there are two ways to go for this Achievement, whether you want to get it done as quickly as possible or in the 30 days intended.

For this Achievement: 90 Bonuses = 30 Days

If you want to get through your songs as quickly as possible, you can change your settings to turn on ‘Perfect Mode’, causing you to fail upon missing the first note of the song. Failing counts as ‘Viewing Results' for a number of Achievements in this game. Press (Start) whilst choosing a difficulty for the required song, choose “Perfect” under the “Special” option, and press to confirm. This mode will automatically fail upon missing a note.



>>> Method One: As Intended: 30 Days

The reset timeframe is very generous in terms of accessibility with it being at 5am; you don’t need to keep track of a specific time and can casually play your daily songs each day at your own convenience.

To unlock this Achievement, you will need to play 90 Bonus Songs, equalling 30 Days of playing all three of your available tracks.

The Store resets at the same time as the Bonus Songs, giving you an easy window of checking how long you have to complete your Bonus Songs, with the countdown displayed at the top of the screen. Please Note: the timer for Reset only shows at the top of the Store if there are items in the selected category available to purchase.

>>> Method Two: Time Zone Method - 30 Hours

With the information that Bonus Songs reset at 5am, we can manipulate our Xbox Settings to get this Achievement quicker than intended.

Xbox allows you to quickly change your Time Zone via Settings > System > Time > Time zone. We can set our Time Zone so that our clock displays a time between 4am and 5am and simply wait for the clock to change over to 5am while we have the game open, resetting both the in-game store and Bonus Song Selection.

Although this method is a lot quicker than the intended method of playing on 30 separate days total, you will still only be able to do one loop of 3 Songs per hour as we need to watch the clock change over to 5am before the songs will change. There are some Time Zones that are offset by 30 minutes, allowing you to potentially work towards this slightly quicker depending on your own Time Zone and how convenient these alternate Time Zone are.

The game needs to be open when the date changes over to 5am for this to work; you can track that this is being done correctly by checking the in-game Store. As mentioned above, the Store resets at the same time as the Bonus Songs, giving you an easy window of checking whether you have set the Time Zone correctly.

PC ONLY - Working Apr 20.

Can get this and "view results for the last 30 days" easily. Might want to leave until last tho, my game failed to start 4 times after but its fine now, all my progress and cash was saved.

Open the game normally, and filter to bonus songs, and turn on perfect mode and play the first 2/3.

When the third song starts, hit pause, change your Windows date to the next day, tab back to the game, finish the song or fail with perfect, and you should get the next days' 3 bonus songs when you get back to song select.

Repeat 30 times. EZ.
