How to unlock the A Veritable Gald Mine achievement in Tales of Berseria - Definitive Guide
This will likely take a lengthy amount of time. Be sure to activate Double Gald option during New Game+ which will give you 2x Gald at the end of each battle. A couple of good ways to build this up is to:
1) Sell all equipment you do not need
2) Repeatedly complete the final Class 4 Administrative Zone
3) Sell your Salvaged Items(Expedition on the 20th Island can bring back some expensive items)
4) Sell everything before you start a new game+
Earn 20 million Gald cumulatively to earn this trophy. This is a huge amount of Gald, but it counts across multiple playthroughs. This should be one of the last trophies you will earn and you can see the amount of amassed Gald in the Records in the Library.
There are two methods to farm Gald. One method to earn Gald is to beat the last Class 4 Administrative Zone (Elite Quarter) - the one you can unlock once the Last Dungeon is unlocked - over and over. It is even more efficient to do on a second playthrough if you choose the option Double Gald in the Grade Shop for 700 Grade with which you earn the double amount of Gald after battles.
The other method is to sell the materials you can farm from sending your Expedition to Quickie Peninsula and abusing the clock of your PlayStation system. Send your ship to Quickie Peninsula, fast-forward your clock by at least 30 minutes, if not a whole day, which causes your expedition to immediately return when you go back to the game. You do not even have to quit the game. Then send the ship again to Quickie Peninsula, fast-forward the clock, and so on. After a while when you have stockpiled the materials, sell the Navigation Tools for 7,500 Gald each, the Pirate Flag: Oceanus Crew for 15,000 Gald each, and the Glinting Glitterfish Glitter for 30,000 Gald each.
